It is a strange, strange cultural phenomenon. Sports officials are the only humans I can think of that are acceptably shouted at, cursed, and ridiculed in public with everyone's approval. Super bizarre.

No organization, company or entity of any kind is perfect. Offering suggestions and solutions to problems is one thing. What is going on here by a few people is something totally different.

People aren't perfect either. They often make mistakes trying to do good things for other people.

I don't always agree with what goes on either. When that happens i address the leaders of the organization. They don't always agree with what I think...that's probably a good thing. A difference of opinion and other ideas can make the world a better place.

Thinking people are foolish because they don't agree with you is nonsense....it also goes both ways

#SJKW!!! Social Justice Keyboard Warriors!! Welcome to the club TripleB! Don't forget about the monthly meetings 5 hours away from you #UpNorth that must be attended in person the last Sunday of the month at 10am and your 2 #SJKW qualifiers during Spring Break and Easter in order to qualify for our yearly #SJKW blog bashing event. I thought ISWA bashing season was after IHSAA state? Beat the rush this year I guess...

I support the ISWA (for JMILL).

Rules, policies, and procedures are for losers JMill, get with the times man! If we disagree we ballyhoo, bellyache and wine to get what we want. If that don't work we Keyboard Warrior to make others look bad!!

JMill, the ISWA should be ashamed of themselves fo attempting to promote Indiana Wrestling, we all know it's a secret Machiavellian society w sole intents and purposes to hold people down!

My real question is why would anyone want to be an ISWA Board Member?

They volunteer COUNTLESS hours, many of them don't have children still involved so they are working for other people's kids, everyone with a keyboard has a better way of doing things and they don't hesitate to point it out and make it a personal attack. You get your integrity and intelligence questioned, most of the things you hear are negative. If by chance you do something right, you would rarely hear it.

I guess you do get a free polo shirt.

I can't believe the line to be a Board Member doesn't start at the ISWA office and extend north thru Muncie, crossing over into Warsaw, then up to Ft Wayne and west to Wheeler.

As regards to my son, no final decision has been made whether he is going to be released from Perry. It is looking like it will not go in our favor the coaching staff at Perry are working hard to get their AD to release him. To the outside world that does not know everything that has been going on, only the recent drama around his wrestling, it would appear this is strictly wrestling related. I can only tell you that, first, I have two daughters in Center Grove, we have always and still live in Center Grove. He went to Center Grove from kindergarten to eighth grade, 8 years. Went to Perry because it is literally 5 minutes from our house we live on the south side of county line which puts us technically in Center Grove. As we were planning on moving over into Perry District we wanted him to start and finish at that High School. My daughter being a Jr and my other daughter in middle school did not want to change schools, so we decided not to move out of Center Grove but just make it work. I never had any expectations of him being able to finish out this season. I already knew that was one thing he was going to have to deal with because of my mistake of starting out of the district. And to think he may have to sit out until this time next year because of decisions adults have made. I've always said I cannot believe that the kids are the ones to get caught up with this stuff. Lastly, if by some chance it all gets worked out and Brayden is released to wrestle this season, we would never step into a room and wrestle off the kid that has been in that spot because we transferred. We are not that type of people and Brayden is not that type of kid. The only way he steps into a spot in that room is if it is agreed upon by that kid. Y'all that don't know us may not believe that, but you all that do, you know that that is the way we are. This is not the way I want his memories of high school to be. Just everybody try to remember that when you're on here talking about all this stuff, if it is good or for kids bad or whatever it is about the kids. They get on here probably as much as we do. I would never want Brayden to get on here and talk about somebody, calling him garbage or some of the stuff I've seen. I'm not judging anybody. Just asking everybody to remember what this is all about.

^^ I don't really know how to work this site lol but I would like to say something on this topic. Ever since I can remember my dad has been my biggest supporter and motivated me to be my best even when I was probably the worst kid out there. I contribute every bit of my success to him and for you to say he can't make post and basically be proud is a pretty shallow thing to do. If you don't like what he says or does be a man and ignore it or just delete him from your profiles. #teamgarcia

Where was I complaining, crying about anything ? I was giving some facts when the question was brought up about my kid. It's a fact That my kid has beaten those kids . *my opinion* I'm not a big fan of Flo/intermat rankings . I know that's running my mouth cause its my opinion. I think you got this topic way out of context. Congrats to all the INDIANA WRESTLERS Ranked . Wish there was more . Should be more cause Indiana Wrestling deserve it .

I think that everyone needs to take a step back and remove their hands from eachothers throats. All mentioned are great wrestlers, and many have reasons to not wrestle this offseason. No need to break out the pitchforks. Asa Garcia is a state champion as a freshman and is having a great season. Breydan Bailey has always been #1 until the state tourney, and has recently had great success on a national level. Those ranked all are great wrestlers and great people. Notice they aren't here arguing over it, they'll leave it all on the mat. Rankings don't matter, as it is more a pat on the back for your success (it is a great honor, but doesn't mean you will beat someone unranked or ranked lower). Be the bigger man and don't insult another man's son over the internet. Don't even do it in person. We are all here because we like wrestling, lets move past this.

Disclaimer: I know nobody at Perry, including the Littell's.
Mr. Littell's post was very clear to me (but thank you Uncle for doing many on here a service). He appears to be a loving Dad, trying to keep his young son's love for wrestling strong. It seems to me he has been very fair and even handed with his explanation of the situation. For those who don't feel comfortable with the "drama" or sensitive nature of all of this, that's understandable. However, it should be understood Mr. Littell responded with details only after his son was being talked about and (I'm guessing here) to avoid any speculation in the future, when his son was no longer wrestling 113 for PM. Sometimes pre-emptive full disclosure is preferable to rampant speculation. He took a chance by putting his information out there. I respect that. I sure hope people realize he has said many times, that he "wasn't in the room." He's been careful to be fair, but also to do what he thinks is best for his son. His boy is young thankfully, so hopefully this is a small blip on his wrestling career.

Yep, you're right OTR. "Lots" is relative and subjective. I am guessing if every person who knows a current wrestler with 100 wins, were to post such, it would be a very long thread. I think the two mentioned in this thread are underclassmen and are not State Qualifiers, so logic would say...many (lots) of seniors, who have advanced to state, are likely in the 100 Club. I suspect many of the "elite" wrestlers in Indiana don't even know exactly how many wins they have. That's why the entire thread made me laugh. Imo, Good coaches, parents and athletes don't have any idea what their (or their kids) career records are, especially midseason.
