  1. Awesome video! Sure brings back memories. I wrestled on Indiana teams with his older brother Scott who was also a badass.
  2. Chip Elderkin and Buzz Mieras...now that's old school. Lol
  3. I believe I counted only 5 or 6 wrestlers from the 80s with more than 130 wins. In the early 80s some schools still didn't have Freshman in the HS.
  4. I'll throw David Palmers name into this debate. 3x Champ 1x Runnerup
  5. Well, I'm currently reading this thread..lol
  6. Red vs Taylor LaMont should be an awesome match next.
  7. Whatcha gonna do... when da Heavy Handz come down on you!!
  8. Hobart Eric Galka 2x Champ, 1x runner up, SQ Alex Ramos 2x Champ, 5th Frankie Porras 2x Champ, 1x runner up, SQ Brennan Cosgrove 1x Champ, 2x runner up, 3rd HM: Let's hear from some other xbricks
  9. Junior - 220 1st Place Fletcher Miller, 3rd Place Jacob Aven
  10. Big Bob you are getting pretty defensive. I think the shut you suk comments need to slow down. You're pretty tuff on your keyboard. I did own what I said. I think there are schools that prepare student athletes as well as if not better in some cases than Cathedral. You don't have to get all huffy over it. It's okay for me to like my school and for you to like yours. Inittowinit made a statement that kids were going to Cathedral because they wanted to be prepared for college. I just stated kids could have the same opportunity elsewhere.
  11. Whoa Big Bob, I said nothing about Cathedral breaking any IHSAA rules. And the statistics you mentioned are for a school that only accepts college bound kids. Isn't there a placement test that must be passed to be accepted? So, I would expect the graduation rates and college acceptance to be close to 100%. I just stated that other schools in the Indianapolis area provide students with an arguably better academic/athletics combination. Just saying you don't have to attend Cathedral to be prepared for college.
  12. Yeah, because all of Cathedral's athletes are "student athletes". I would argue that you can get a better academics/athletics combination at schools like Carmel, Zionsville, Center Grove, Avon, Brownsburg, Hamilton Southeastern, Fishers, ect. You certainly don't need to attend Cathedral to be prepared for Division I academics or athletics.
  13. Yes, I had one of my wrestlers ask tonight at weigh-ins.
  14. Is there a link to the mat they are wrestling on now?
  15. I know who the 220lber is It would be nice to know the rest of the roster and if track will be covering the matches this weekend.
  16. He also has a little brother who won Cadet 113lbs.
  17. Congrats to Fletcher Miller 2nd place and Jacob Aven 6th place @220lbs! You both represented Indiana very well.
  18. Jacob Aven and Fletcher Miller both in semis in opposite brackets at 220lbs
