BrodyHardcastle got a reaction from MUSKEEWRESTLER in Article: THREEEEE Big Rule Changes Coming to High School Wrestling
Absolutely love all the rule changes. Not as much grey area with new college ob rules and more points on the board. All sounds great to me!

BrodyHardcastle got a reaction from MUSKEEWRESTLER in Transfers/potential freshman moves??
From what I understand the kid from Tennessee actually went to CP through like JH. Hoping those Delta boys stay home but wish the best to them no matter where they end up!

We will still claim them as Fort Wayne kids for statistical purposes.

BrodyHardcastle reacted to Y2CJ41 in Flowrestling Radio Live Says Indiana Wrestling is Second Tier
The top tier(in somewhat order)
Pennsylvania
Ohio
California
New Jersey
Illinois
Second tier(not too much order)
Wisconsin
Michigan
Minnesota
Indiana
Oklahoma
Missouri
New York
Georgia(sneaking up there)
Look at NCAA qualifiers and All-Americans, Junior/16U/14U Duals results, Super 32 results, etc and you'll see most of these states in the mix. The second tier has good runs, then small lulls at times.
Recently Indiana has been better than Michigan, but over the course of 10-15 years Michigan is slightly ahead.

I think he is off topic just a bit, but bravo to you for a mention to former Major League Baseball player Dave Doster. He’s not quite as famous as Larry Bird or Bruce Baumgartner … or even Kurt Thomas … but he did ISU proud.

Hey there everyone! Pardon the 3rd person description, I just wanted to give you a heads up that I will be covering the USA Wrestling Olympic Trials at Penn State.
I'm briefly stepping out of retirement to attend the Trials as an approved media member and I wanted to give folks an opportunity to suggest/request questions I can ask the athletes participating, particularly those with Indiana ties. I haven't done this in the past, but what the heck!
I'll have more information and articles to come, but please feel free to shoot me question ideas, even if they are ridiculous
Thank you and I look forward to sharing this journey with anyone interested.

I'm keeping tabs on results and NCAA advancement status in the "Who Gets In?" article thread...please help me add results! They're coming hot and heavy

BrodyHardcastle reacted to maligned in Article: Who Gets In? A Full Weekend Rundown of NCAA Qualification Chances for 18 ex-Indiana High-Schoolers
They put up a 9th place bracket at 174 now on Track. I think that could only be for the purpose of determining True 8th, since there are only 8 slots. DJ Washington really needs to win a couple matches. It's not looking good for him.

BrodyHardcastle reacted to Thor in Team Indiana: Classic All Star Duals: March 17
Either way, both should have at least been notified. Not sure the steps that got missed, but we now have a guy that lost first round of semi state and a guy down from 150 at the 144 spot that was a ticket rounder. I'm just saying, something is off here. Not saying Colt is the best senior 144 in the state, but if the guys ahead of him actively said no, then he deserves a chance to get the spot. Same with Liscano, like if they are able to and weren't contacted that sucks.
