Brownsburg's traveled to Cleveland area 2x and Crown Point once this season for tournaments. a little travel closer to home shouldn't hurt, but won't matter to me anymore... send Purplesburg through to a sectional/regional that gets it to Ft Wayne to balance things out...

I have seen better write up's and better work (by better people..... I kid). I did enjoy the family/sibling section and the shout out to Jmill was real nice.
EVSS still triggers me so I will not be in attendance this wknd, but I want to say to all kids wrestling best of luck and bring your best to reach your goals. Dreams can come true for all the hard work you have put in all season.
To all the parents in the stands, enjoy the heck out of this day and the experience of your kids on a huge stage experiencing something that most people don't get to experience. These are memories you will have for a lifetime I promise you all that.
Lastly @TripleB I guess if I am being honest that write up was slightly above average and a decent read & from Jmill that is about as big of a compliment as one can get (love ya brother and glad your healthy)

Thanks @Y2CJ41and Anna Kayser! Anna was able to tell his story (to date) so well. These two articles and Jeremy Hines's article from the '21-'22 season have been able to relate so much better than what social media does nowadays. The wrestling community in Indiana is tight and the relationships through Indiana wrestling will be treasured as these next four weeks draw to a close and the wrestling shoes are permanently traded in for cleats...

One might wonder who those bigger guys at Cobra the '6th grade' Leighton was wrestling? I'd take a stab that Leighton was somewhere between 165-180 back then. I still recall the astonishment when I told my 70lb son that the kid wrestling Lee and Brewer was a year younger than him.
