I would love to tell you they're going to trade up to 3 and take drake maye but I have truly no idea.

Big vikes fan as well. If we cant get the 3 spot, do you trade up both first round picks with the chargers for mccarthy?

Or hang on to the first round picks and take penix/bo nix at 11 and best available db at 23.

I'm nervous and scared. Wont be able to sit down tomorrow evening lol.

CP absolutely lost the team title this weekend. Clark wins Friday night, they win the title. If any of their placers win matches against guys they already beat, they win the team title. They had a number of ways to still win the team title but they faltered at almost every turn. Hats off to CG & BB but to pretend like CP didn’t underperform this title away is sticking your head in the sand.

As for the, “your program would take 9 medals, 12 qualifiers, etc.”, that is comparing apples to oranges. CP’s program and its resources, recruiting included, eliminates 99% of wrestling programs from having that type of success so to think otherwise is ridiculous.

I’m glad to hear you won’t be banning DawgPoundRed or whatever he goes by. The guy hasn’t said anything to warrant banishment especially on a discussion board.

    Nailed it.

Also, parity is good for the sport. We don't need any teams winning 3-4 in a row. If BBurg rattles off a couple (very possible) we'll be back to rooting for CP like we were rooting for BBurgg this year, and 2021 Mater Dei to end the Cathedral run.

Now is it really parity if we are just rotating between CP, Bburg, and CG?? Not really. But it is better than one team just completely dominating a decade.

These 3 will always be relevant. I don't see that changing. Coaching staffs are too good. However, I am curious to see how long they can sustain THIS level of greatness.

  3. I ordered and was charged for 5 tickets. I have 10 tickets in my ticket master app.

Is that representative of a ticket for both sessions tomorrow? Slightly confused. They also switched 5 of them to a different section.  All 10 say "all session."

I've got a Bobby Douglas instructional book my dad gave to me when I graduated high school and he retired from coaching, and it helped me figure out some of the things Dave Maldonado was coaching to beat up on my teams so much. I figured it out, but that doesn't mean it changed things too much.

Teyon was my first loss in college.

I met Tim Maldonado for the first time last week at Middle School State. Its seems to me that Dave has some

jedi to him. Been winning for a long time.

Was Teyon as fast as he looked on tv lol?

  5. If you transfer from a small school that barely has a wrestling program, or to a school in which you grew up in their club, or your family legitimately moved in the school system. I can get behind it. Do what you have to do.

If right before your freshman year you transfer from a solid program that constantly produces qualifiers and even champs, to one of these mega schools, then that is a different story imo. Especially if you are leaving behind families and teammates you came up with. I've always had a ton of respect for families that say nah we are going to wrestle with who we came up with if we get a title we do if we don't we don't.

If your child needs some extra guidance and a strong coach in his life to keep grades and attitude accountable, I guess that maybe is an exception. But it's still kind of lame.

I think FWSS has title chances with Boyd, Wood, Doster, Betz and I’ll even throw Leech in there too.

Imagine a world (if you dont mind) in which Kresja is still at Delta. Brabender is still at northridge. Veazy is still in state. Rochester doesn't get moved. 😵‍💫

If my aunt had balls she'd be my uncle I know I know.

But FW SS could've been well represented under the lights when on top of them you factor in Boyd, Tishner, Wood, Doster, Betz, Leech, Keegan Martin, Hinton.

Harley Hiner, Southwood.  I think his kid(s) wrestles now.  Not sure because they don't seem to have have mustaches.

Honorable mention for the toughest Michael Jackson to ever live.  Culver 01'.

Random you say michael jackson. I heard a story just recently that he took down Ben Askren in an open college tourney.

  8. For an NCC basketball school, Marion's room was surprisingly great. 2 full mats. Padded walls. 40-50 feet of pull up bars. 4 ropes. On the other side of the wall was the swimming pool. You could lose 4-5 lbs in a tshirt and shorts. Stayed around 80 in there.

Crazy to think about how much better avon could have been this year. We could have seen a 106 case bell plus Braylon Reynolds, Lucas boe, and Caden brewer in the lineup. (I get other places were better fits for them) this Avon team is already doing great things and still could of been that much better

    Where did Boe end up?
