Ben Askren the "Father of Funk" won two NCAA titles with it...He used it to score off of rather than just hold for a stalemate...hence his defense became his offense also...his matches were always fun to watch.

As usual great job on the mag!!! Always fun to know wrestling season is right around the corner, and the pre season mag is here! Gotta give credit where credit is due...Indianamat is probably the best state specific wrestling site in the country and you guys def. take it with the preseason mag!

Both teams were in the war on the wabash tournament and Plymouth dual tournament...having to wrestle same team two weeks in a row was not preferred by either team I believe just unfortunate luck of tourney draws

At 113 goering from Riley beat Kazmierzack from St. Joe...he was up 7-1 when Kazmierzak injury defaulted from a power half

Riley lost to Goshen by 2 pts 40-38 at Harrison then beat them 52-18 with most the lineup in the very next week...with all of the quality teams at the Traicoff should be some good battles for sure.

Overall good tournament...always nice to get up to 10 matches in one weekend in a dual format...kudos to Harrison for putting it on!!!

At 145 Goering from Riley beat Sigman from Twin Lakes at their tournament.

Gotta give it to him...Lee very impressive win over Davis...with Wilson at 26 now and Micic still there most exciting weight class...45 with Lecount and Forte close second though!

Pound for pound does mean best no matter what weight an individual is...that being Said if Lee is so accomplished nationaly why is he ranked behind a senior without all of the national accomplishements in Davis...apparently those doing the rankings still pick a senior with a strong state record over a freshman with huge potential...just going off your own rankings.
