    Have to agree with JMILL... From my outside perspective, it almost seems like people from the region decided one day that schools like Merriville, Portage, Lowell, etc. had good programs and were close enough to the original region that they just decided to add it in. I guess it will always just depend on whom you ask. Anyways, congrats on all the success you had this year.

    I think he is being overlooked because of Nick Lee teching him at Semi-State. Great wrestler, but Lee and Red are a few steps above.

    106: #5 Tanner DeMien vs. #9 Jacob Moran - I'll take DeMien by decision 120: #5 Blake Glogouski vs. #6 Kyle Luigs - Probably the match I'm looking most forward to on Friday. Ill take Glogouski by 1. 126: #4 Austin Holmes vs. #9 Michael DeLaPena - I'm taking DeLaPena with the "upset". #7 Logan Dilbeck vs. #8 Marcus Mejia - I'm going out on a limb and taking Mejia by pin. 145: #5 Isaac Eicher vs. #10 Austin Bethel - Should be a great match, up there with Glogouski v. Luigs for me. I'll take Eicher. 182: #3 Cameron Jones vs. #17 Ashton Mutuwa - I have Jones winning, but I'm interested to see if Mutuwa can pull the upset. I know I'm missing a lot of great Friday night matches, but these are the few that I will not be missing.

    I was wondering if someone could lay out how teams will be accumulating scores at state this year. I'm sure it is somewhere, but I can't find it. Just want to make sure I'm looking at it correctly. Thanks.

    I recommend Bru Burger Bar at 410 Mass Ave. Quick cab ride from the stadium. They have great burgers, 50% Regular fries and 50% Sweet potato fries w/ homemade ketchups, and good beers on tap.

    $8/session $20/every session Wrestling starts at 6pm. Doors usually open about an hour before I believe. There will be a lot of people in the lobby.

    It is great that so many kids made the academic list this year. I think that having the IHSWA pay for their state tickets and letting them walk is unnecessary though. Hopefully, their reward for their hard work is a scholarship or two to the college of their choice. Congrats to all the kids who worked hard on their academics and continue the hard work in college or your career.

    Semi-State pick-ems are already completed and the results will be shown before state I'm sure. State pick-ems will probably be released soon based on what y2 said on another thread.

    At 170 I think 4 seed Goddard could beat Baumgartner. Their first match had Baumgartner winning 5-3 in OT. Should be a good match regardless of outcome.

    Depends... Is it a full head of hair that is styled poorly? Or is it the bowl style with a comb over?
