Ben is just a GREAT kid. The type of kid everyone just has to like. He is very polite and always willing to helpout a younger kid or someone he may wrestle someday. Ben is a OUTSTANDING wrestler I know we will see him under the lights someday. He is one of the hardest working kids in the sport. Get well son Ben.

Its AWESOME that Perry opens their doors a few times a year and lets young wrestlers from all over the state come in and get to see why Perry is #1. The rule about no High School kids is crap let these young kids learn or be coached by these guys. Who wouldnt wanna learn from a State Champ. -
Heard a coach say I hope he doesnt tear your arms & legs off & throw your body out in the parking lot.

I like the honor system it speeds up the brackets and getting in. However we as parents & coaches need to take care of what we have been giving and not screw it up..... An ideal I had was if you feel a kid is over weight go to a offical protest it if they are with in a certin amount of the weight they entered you give their entry fee back to them right there if they are over that amount they are DQ. I feel there needs to be a allowance because the kids eat or drink during the tournament and maybe over at that point but wont be no 12 over....

Bottom line is these kids work their tails off to get that big win. Some of them that maybe their 1st big win or only big win. They should be able to enjoy it to a point. Theres a fine line of over doing it and thats something the coaches should talk to them about in private or in prac. The stakes are high the crowd is pumped you worked all season its go time. You get that big win show some honor. The kid that lost goes back to work for his chance to do the same next match.

Will probley be very hit and miss.... I have a kid who just turned 3 in Dec he was able to wrestle in a 6 & under class in Ohio he gave up alot of age & some weight. So it is possiable to get some matches but probley not alot.

Conner James of The Rebals is just a Great Young man look for big things from this kid for years to come. Very hard worker real down to earth kid.

The problem with Whiteland is they are a FOOTBALL driving school. The Football coaches tell the better wrestlers not to wrestle to lift weights instead. Then they take the wrestling room and turn it into a weight room. This made the number of kids going out for wrestling drop by alot. Last year they had to roll mats out every day just to prac. The wrestling program get no help from the school.

Robert Duncan will be a beast. Just a great young man too very poliet and soaks stuff in like a sponge. Watched him several times this summer at Arlington Rtc and seen him at several of the Perry Rtc. Its awesome how Coach Hull & Coach Morgan have taking him under their wing and push him to keep getting better.

Perry looked outstanding very impressive. Great job Perry Coaches you have done your homework. Mckinnley WOW I really enjoy watching this kid he is on a mission. I think the goal for anyone that does wrestle him is to make it out of the 1st period. If you have out worked this kid this summer your dead because you would have had to kill yourself to out work him this summer. The only thing I didnt understand is why Fagen didnt wrestle in the Classic he beat his guy at Wrestle Mania. I was kinda disappointed with that not sure what happened there. Beech Grove done a great job with the event all but the girls on the middle mat talking and not running the clock or score board right. The Falcons are solid good luck to who ever has to wrestle them this year.

Ive went and watched state for years and years. I went and watched my 1st team state last year. I was blown away it was a 1st class deal. I said when I left that day I wont miss one for now on that was the BEST day of wrestling I have ever seen from start to finish. It was STANDING ROOM ONLY. Why mess up a great thing??????????

My son went to the Perry Middle School Camp this summer said Richardson was great he really liked the guy. Said it have to be alot of fun wrestling for him. Gil Journey is just so slick how could you ever stop a guy like that??? He has so much he can hurt you with. The St Roch crew took a young kid that wasnt sure about wrestling do I really wanna do this and made that kid LOVE wrestling.

Miller & Ellis for sure Chad Red is awesome. Coach Dowden from New Pal is very good. Coach Hull is amazing. Danny Williams is very good. Ed Pendoski very sharp, really liked Mike Ester & Danny Irwin. St Roch best place in town for the young kids.Tontes crew hard to beat. The beast of all coaches do to me has to be Gil Journey you wanna workout you better come to WORK....... Thank you to all of these coaches for all the time and effort you put in to help the Wrestlers of Indiana.
