AND...Columbus East and Avon showed up to the fight for a state championship while EMD stayed home. EMD won the Perry Meridian Duals...Columbus East and Avon are state champs and state runner-ups, I think those young men will be OK with that.

That was a tough bunch of kids! Well deserved Columbus East.

We had about 30 kids last night who got over an hour of solid live wrestling. A good start, and Im sure it will only get stronger as the season rolls on. Come and join us next Thursday (6:15).

Starting tonight 1/5 Center Grove WC will be hosting a FREE open room every Thursday at 6:15. This will be an all live session geared towards advanced elementary/ middle school wrestlers run by the CGWC coaching staff. Attendees must show a current USA card at the door. Location: Center Grove High School wrestling room (west gym) see you all there.

Kurt Monix... not only one of the best athletes in the region/state but one of the best young men I have had the pleasure to be associated with. He will go far in life no matter what path he chooses.
