yes it is tomorrow.......i know for sure elkhart memorial and chesterton will be there!......i was trying to find out the other teams earlier this week but it seems to be top secret.......the 5 teams noted above were all there last year and i believe all will be back but from what i heard at least one "other" team dropped out and some new team from illinois is coming in.......but that is merely hearsay so if nothing else we shall know in the morning......

how does elkhart memorial get ranked in the poll that is for all schools but not in the classed poll?......we are 17th in the "all school" poll and if you would take out a couple of smaller schools we would be at least 15th but not shown in the top 16 that are noted in the 3a.......just wondering...... -
tough call but if red and james wrestled tomorrow, would you declare the winner the best P4P (if you take lee and whomever else out of the mix)?.....if so, then you really have to go back to april where james won......at this point, until he is "dethroned" by red, i would have to say he is, based on that match, the man.........but.......lol none the less, with that said, i think red is the next 4 timer and if he isn't the "best in indiana" now, he will be soon.....

Is the cheesy named (lol) "Mr. Gorilla" award based on the wrestlers performance for this upcoming season only or does it take into consideration previous years accomplishments? I'm assuming it must since you listed previous accolades of each kid. -
dang......nick lee took quite a jump from the discussions as to can he win state this year to how he would do against a national/international champion.....

anyone have thoughts or comments about this tournament?......they have a high school "varsity" division for kids that aren't nationally ranked or in that mix......was thinking about going out there for along weekend and having my son wrestle in it......any feedback would be appreciated.......

that's about as dumb as i've seen in combat sports......what in that video possibly looks like it would define why anyone would be good at wrestling?.....one takedown?......i do like the "jump/slap" though......very sneaky.......would never see that one coming......lol

why does the man in the blue singlet turn into a green singlet when he is down but it's blue when he's up?.......but the red singlet always stays red?......just seems kinda odd.......gotta be a reason of some type otherwise they wouldn't have done that i wouldn't think......

Penn starts out strong with a 49-3 win over Brawlers Select. Looks like Ohio Grapplers and Iowa Black are going to be a real test for Penn in their bracket, not to mention Young Guns and Michigan who are also in their pool. Young Guns next at 3pm.

fantastic coach and i am very pleased to have my son training with him this summer......we greatly appreciate the opportunity to be part of his disney duals team.......the one thing that separates brad from other coaches is that he puts the same amount of effort into kids from other schools as he does his own wrestlers........he really is all about advancing the sport as a whole, not just his own kids......this is the attitude we as a state need, if we ever want to be a powerhouse......

i think in general we are seeing better athletes in all sports because of the focus on only one sport in so many cases.....the superstar 3 sport athletes are far and few between now compared to 25 years ago.........they're still out there but just not as prevalent......the kids that do start focusing on one sport at a younger age see the payoff earlier in high school now.....
