Dude,  Im ok with you ripping this regional.  But when  you get on here and like you know it all, why don't you get your facts straight.  The Logansport regional put 7 through to state.  Thats an understatement by 29%.  Yes the reqional isn't as good as the ones up north,  but it also made up of smaller schools.      When you look at the number of qualifiers per student population, it probably does as well or better than the other regionals.

Nothing against carden he is a good wrestler, but tell me who he has beat with a good record or a guy that has been ranked at one time in the year? Bc has beat him once and we will do it again. Like I said don't get me wrong he is a good wrestler but strawsma gets him.

Shrock beat Pullins last week 5-2 at conference, so ill give him the favorite.   But Pullins who is finally healthy enough to put some momentum together will learn from that match and hes a senior thats hungry.  Should be worth watching.
 
Also I'm calling Carden a tossup to slight favorite at 132 against Strawsma.   You dont have an undefeated record for nothing at this time of year.

Just wondered what/who had the smallest Conference "Meaning all small schools" and what it means to them to win at a level that they're competitive vs a sectional regional (schools that might get an occasional kid to state or Conferences in which all the teams have a hard time filling the weight classes!! I Know for my team its an exciting season as they only have 1 Conference win ever in wrestling and we are the favorites going in this week and the excitement and work these guys are putting in wanting this so bad is awesome...just a thought of how many others its the highlight of the season...

The bus ride there will be warm you can take that to the bank!!!

Hudkins won 17-7 in the Conference finals "Without the use of his left hand" he was reversed on a switch and clearly gave it up rather than use his pinky/ring finger and had to re-wrap during the match i would say he is still a state qualifier but, without the use of that hand at that level it will be challenging for him to say the least but im going to rooting for a quick recovery for this fine young man as he was and is a pleasure to watch...

After watching Molloy at the Al Smith it got me wondering how he'd do against Red. I think it would be closer than a major.

Greene was down "a lot" when he rolled Grino and double grapevined him for the fall he did almost the same thing in the finals to win it all....Gotta give him the nod though he got the job done and ultimately its what won Lebanon the Conference

Brock Hudkins is the #1 seed at Conference this week 15-0 so im guessing he's back be interested in seeing what % he's at...Glad to see the young man back on the mat

Correct me if I'm wrong, steve hall from North Newton only had like 6 losses in high school lost in ticket round @ M-ville in 92-93-94-95 was a multipleX iswa champion  and world sombo champion!!! I believe that has to rank pretty high if anyone remembers him and could help out with his credentials...

Will say a prayer now!

I know we have many great wrestlers as well as coaches out there and I could use all of your prayers...Tues morning Dec 23rd my mother had a stroke which has affected her memory skills.. While going through examination process they also found that she had Cancer in her Lungs,spine,liver, kidney...The Oncologist just left, he seemed more optimistic than our 1st diagnosis....her memory is starting to come back and she spoke in about 6 word sentences.....keep the prayers coming we appreciate it!!! The doc at 1st diagnosis wasn't hopefully optimistic but in 2 days we have seen signs of vast improvement has she is starting to remember things and even broke down in tears that she knows she missed Christmas. ..She didn't know myself my brother or my sister by name but does know that she knows us by association, but today knew that it was my daughter's Birthday...My mom has devoted so much of her life to wrestling and us boys in this sport that I feel now we are compelled to give back as much prayer to her as possible as the power of prayer can do amazing things..I don't mean to beg but my mom is the rock that holds this very tight family together and as the Holidays have came and gone the whole family hasn't left her side...Appreciate all Prayers, Billy Birge Rossville Varsity Wrestling Coach & Josh Birge 1998 Frankfort High School state champion.....Rules are just that, you have those who follow them and those who look more in depth in them for that loop hole of change & and sometimes that's the difference between Winning and Losing and in this battle I'm looking in depth in the rule for a positive change!!!
