friendofrunningwriter Posted January 9, 2014 Share Posted January 9, 2014 FRANKLIN, YORKTOWN, CHURUBUSCO TOP CLASSED WRESTLING POLLS The champions of last Saturday’s Team State Dual Meet tournaments – Franklin, Yorktown and Churubusco – have inherited the top spots in this week’s high school wrestling rankings by class. The Indiana High School Wrestling Coaches Association (IHSWCA) has voted Franklin as the top team in Class AAA (large schools), Yorktown as No. 1 in Class AA (medium-size schools) and ‘Busco as the top squad among small schools (Class A). All three earned titles during the second annual IHSWCA dual meet tournaments at Westfield last weekend. Not coincidentally, the runner-up in each tournament – Adams Central, North Montgomery and Evansville Mater Dei – are each ranked No. 2 in this week’s poll.
