Coach77
Very interesting draw. Anyone know why they draw the team state rather then feed them in by region much like they do in football, basketball, baseball, etc? Not sure if there is any answer for that, but just curious. Coach Peck
Have any of the team regionals changed? I know at Adams Central they have had the same draw the past three years. It is different for us at Shelbyville this year, and I believe it has changed up several times over the past 4-5 years.
Coach Wadkins
The IHSAA draws the State Wrestling Team Finals because everyone is under one roof for the event and they cherish their blind draw single elimination history. In those other team sports, geography and travel are a major concern/expense. Therefore, they advance down the tourney trail with the least travel and expense. maligned
It says Delphi in the team regionals rankings Total coin flip, really. I've got Delphi by 2 in the Genius and their results suggest they've been the stronger team of late, but someone who's seen them both wrestle probably has a better idea than I do how the match-up might play out. McCutcheon, Logansport, Jeff, Benton Central could all have something to say too.
