just1guy Posted January 19, 2011 Share Posted January 19, 2011 Senior Jasper wrestler Zach "Z-Man" Beckman finished his high school wrestling career undefeated tonight. Zach is a Downs Syndrome Special Needs student at Jasper High School and became a You Tube sensation earlier in the year for scoring a 59 yard touchdown run against Mt. Vernon. He topped his high school wrestling career off tonight in style with a special exhibition match against another Jasper Senior, Kaleb Chambers, before the big rivalry meet with Southridge high school. Zach exploded off the initial whistle and stunned Kaleb with an overpowering headlock that took Chambers to his back. Try as he might, Chambers could not stop the inevitable. Zach pinned him ! I applaud all those involved in giving Zach the chance to be just like them and enjoy the same things as they do. Would love to see the video.
