  1. How soon before people start asking for the semi state rankings now!? over/under - 7.5 days
  2. Crazy thing is those dual meets take place the same night, December 8th!
  3. I hate when Mickey does that..
  4. Kenny Kern from Jimtown is having a good year so far. Nice article on him below: http://wsbt.com/sports/outstanding-student-athlete/burger-king-outstanding-student-athlete-jimtowns-kenny-kern
  5. yea the takedown was towards the end when the guy knew he could give it up and be ok. Not sure I would say he got worked though. After watching his match before that I thought to myself something about him isn't right. He didn't really look himself at all the whole day.
  6. Burroughs was beat in the quarters 3-2. He had the only takedown. Other guy scored on 2 push out points and a passivity...
  7. Jason is heading to Arizona State University! http://www.flowrestling.org/article/45275-jason-tsirtsis-transfers-to-arizona-state
  8. Looks like he has a good lead as of now!
  9. Congrats Matt, had the chance to coach against him last year at the Al Smith. Great kid, great attitude, and sounds like he is tremendous in the classroom. Good luck to you with your future.
  10. The 2005 class would have to be in discussion. Headlined by Reece Humphrey, Angel Escobedo, and Matt Coughlin. All 3 had great college careers while Angel and Reece are both wrestling for USA. Scott Kelly went undefeated to win a title, Nick Corpe won a title with his one loss coming at team regionals if I remember right. Orrin Kleinhenz won without a loss, and Chris Kasten won a title with one loss. And then you have the big fellow, Lynn Panko, who celebrated an undefeated season at 215 with a backflip after the match.
  11. I thought it was the best I have ever heard down there
  12. Everybody is ready to get a jump start on the 12 and 16 oz curls, that's why!
  13. The NCAA just started doing a couple years ago.. it didn't happen for Cael Sanderson either, but it adds some suspense to the night.. If someone can explain a better way to have a full packed house for the heavier guys, I will think about changing my mind.
  14. I am not ashamed, and I dont see how I am ruining his self esteem. If this kid really has what it takes to pull off an upset like this, i would bet my house that when he sees a comment made like that, his motivation and drive would increase, rather than it ruining or effecting his self esteem.
  15. Only ones upset after that match will you be you two, because that won't happen..
  16. Clearly, someone wanted to stir the pot. That or they weren't a fan of their draw...
  17. Memorial - 127 Jimtown - 119.5 Prairie Heights - 118.5
  18. Fernando Luevano from West Noble was a state qualifier last year as a freshman at 132 lbs after winning MS state the year before.
  19. All Good, just was kind of confused myself!
  20. So Team Regionals would be the Wednesday before Regionals... Team Semi State the following week (The week of Semi State)... And Team State the Wednesday of Semi State... Are you saying Team Semi State and Team State would take place the same week (week of semi state), leaving only 3 practices before semi state for those teams who qualify for team state??
  21. I predict in about a week a thread about the shaved ice will begin!
