In short yes , thanks for asking,as my posts have pointed out. The out comes this year have been on a high note. Couldn’t ask for more as far as results are concerned. The effort of all the wrestlers ,as I have stated every year of Angels era , has been infinitely better than the last 6-7 Goldman coached years. I want ,so bad, to have Angel keep the elite men in state. To take Indianas program up a couple more notches. But I’m also happy this year with the results of dual team effort.

Good back and forth dual. Each team seemed to step up. Would have liked to see more asses in seats. Next week I think the crowd will be larger. Lee and company will be in town with the rest of the rodents.

Agreed. IU looked good for the most part in the matches they were suppose to.
Harris at 184 looks way too small for the weight. South looked ok for what I believe is his first time competing for the year. Mendez just did Mendez things to Porter at 133.

Not many of you youngins would now much about Indiana State's wrestling program. But one of the finest grapplers to roll in Terre Haute passed last week. Bob Dickman was from Stoughton Wisconsin. He was a 3x placer and a 1X champ. He came to Terrible Haute to be teached under Fran McCan. Bob was 4x NCAA qualifier and 2x all American. Placing 7th and 3rd in the D1 nationals. Bob was 63 years old at the time of his passing. Bob has 6 children and 5 siblings. Please keep Bob and his family in your prayers.

I fully understand that most believe JD Minch and the IHSWCA are a bunch of wizards. I have even heard rumors that Greg Ratliff and Danny Struck are potential wizards, but have never received full confirmation. Due to that, they have not utilized the ability to see into the future(or at least for the sake of school enrollment figures).
Thus, it would appear they utilized the 2022 numbers which showed the following for Clark-Pleasant Community School Corporation, which is the district in which Whiteland Community High School resides.

The IndianaMat Hoosier Preseason Open has grown beyond being your standard preseason tournament. It’s become a premier regional tournament and Super 32 Qualifier that has featured some of the best wrestlers in the nation and some of the stiffest competition year after year. At what point, do you all think we’ll begin to see it receive more national attention and be mentioned alongside the likes of tournaments such as FreakShow or other preseason tourneys?
