Campbell and Venezia was an excellent match. I can speak for only myself and say the sportsmanship both delivered at the end was outstanding. Its obvious both have learned alot aoput themselves and this great sport over the years.

For NC I think 103, 119, 125, 140,145,152,215 all went undefeited. Please correct me if thats incorrect.

I think the world of both these young men (Cody, Mason) both are tremendous wrestlers and my son loves wrestling both of them he considers both very good friends. I will not predict any outcome except probably one of the best matches of the year. GOOD LUCK TO BOTH1

At our house hold we know both Phillips and Todd both. We will be at another tourney those days in Laffayette. This will bet the match of the tournament. I will not predict the winner. One is a brawler and extremely fast the other is tecchnical and also extremely fast would be great to witness this but can't unfortuneately. My prediction is one of these 2 young men will be this years 112 state champion though.

Before coments are made like he is deffinately going to win, think about knocking on wood. Two years ago everyone had Campbell from NC winning the tourney hands down and his appendix ruptured right before regionals. Never say deffinately!

Dear starfire, I know how difficult it must be. Thank you for your contrabution to wrestling but more so THANK YOU for your contribution to this great country. It takes great people like yourself to do what you do and are going to do. My son is lookingto graduate next year and hopefully attend the USN Academyand become a part of the Spec. Ops, and its great people like yourself that as a veteran myself look toward to help make average boys and girls great true Americans!

It will be interesting to Venezia and Campbell do battle at Cathedral later on tis year. 119 is shaping up to be a great weight class to watch

I played hockey in the USHL, and in college. We played every Fri. and Sat. night never once did we shake hands after a Friday game always after the last game of a series. So who really cares if the wrestlers shake hands with the coach. In my opinion there is way too much hand shaking going on any ways. All the wrestlers shake the coaches hand after the match . There is only more chances for things to go wrong in this highly emotional sport! -

Well yesterday was a screwey day at New Castle. NC beat Bellmont, whom destroyed New Palestine, who later in the day had to re arrane their entire line up to beat NC. Head to head in a individual tourney New Pal gets destroyed by NC. All around great day just wish New Pal would of had their experienced wrestlers against NCs experienced wrestlers. In fact I think this was the 3rd year in a row NP didn't wrestle Campbell they forfeited to Mullins, Catron, and Mofield also. -
That is classic I must say, I love this sport and my opinion only matters to me but I'm not scared to share it. Isn't that what this board is about. Indiana wrestling is reallly starting to produce some of the best wrestling in the country and I'm really proud to be apart of it. I may not have the best english or punctuation but who needs that when you hang iron and call your office outside in the air were birds fly. Proud to be a Union IronWorker and part of thisw great wrestling community!!!!

Well rankngs guy, I personally could care less what you think of me. And thank you RAGU for bringing to the attention of the rankings guy who the seven young men are, that will probably make it to Conseco. I never said they would all go there as a Semi State Champions . I said thet New Castle would send half a team.

Thank you, alot of good Indiana men going, 119lb has 160+ will all of them wrestle or is the tourney goingto sort out and have less barackets seems like alot of wrestlin in only 2 days?

If my memory is correct New Castle only lost 2-3 eniors last year. With a couple of young men coming back to New Castle they may make a big impression on the state level.

you are right Navy its a front head lock. The key point is where your bicep is placed and the depth of the forearm. Its a very tight and as we all seen a devastating beautiful move. The quote is true "Once you've vrestled everything else is easy." Even BJJ -
You know Rebel4life your boys are some of the most outstanding kids I have ever known. Those young men will go as far in life as they choose. I to know loyalty I've had a few opportunities to move the family around the state and out of state but our blood bleeds green and white and will for at least 2 more years! By the way tell the boys we went to So. Eastern Indiana last week and caught a ton of 1 1/2 lb Blue Gills and the oldest even caught the old man in the cheek with a hook as he was casting. After I calmed down and got he hook out of my face we laughed and he said, "That was the biggest large mouth ass ever taken from the pond." Thank the Lord I'm broke down and can't run. Really it was quite comical. Good luck to all this year and who cares who moves here and there JUST WRESTLE

Well. mole if you could read and weren't so arrogant I said" If this is true," then I stated my opinion. I also think you may have not got the logistic of the conversation. I have been around this sport for quite a number of years. The point I was trying to get to, was that the safety of the wrestlers is in the hands of the refferee, and he/she is the responsible party. And yes you are right I haven't reffereed past sectionals, due to the fact that watching my son is far more important to me and I also know that I get to involved in the wrestling past the level of sectionals. In other words you have to know when not to do it and if you can't do the JRs. correctly go to pee-wees and learn.
