  1. Those were the first offensive points scored by Rose against Viduya in 2+ seasons! Alec up 8-2 (with two cuts) then Rose hit the splits!
  2. Salazar was at 160 for Marion County. He is a VERY light 182 pounder! .
  3. 285 - John Harris (Roncalli) over Darrione Gregory (Law Central) 14-6
  4. The Rebels are slimming down: Viduya is at 132, Freije is at 138, Page at 145, Smith at 152, Salazar at 160, and Mahan at 170!
  5. 106 - Unranked Kody Glithero (Roncalli) over #14 Brac Hooper (Carmel) 4-0
  6. 1 - Roncalli 2 - Carmel 3 - FW Carroll 4 - Crown Point 5 - Mt. Vernon (Hancock) 6 - Zionsville 7 - Westfield 8 - Noblesville 9 - Ben Davis 10 - Yorktown 11 - Fishers 12 - Homestead 13 - Shenandoah 14 - Lawrence Central 15 - Princeton 16 - Northview http://www.trackwrestling.com/tw/teamtournaments/MainFrame.jsp?newSession=false&TIM=1543706005137&pageName=
  7. When I wrestled it was only the top 2 from sectional, regional, and SS that advanced. Yes, I am old!
  8. Once Notre Dame lost the wrestling endowment, the program was folded. ND would not dilute other Indiana D1 programs since most students are from out of state. Title IX killed most college wrestling programs. These are the former Indiana college wrestling programs lost to Title IX (off the top of my head): Franklin, Hanover, DePauw, Evansville, Valpo, Indiana State (lost coach and endowment to ND), Huntington, Taylor, and Anderson. Ball State and Earlham lost their programs prior to Title IX.
  9. Sam will continue his wrestling career at Marian University with plans to enter the priesthood!
  10. Good luck to the 4 Roncalli Rebels (Lowery, Viduya, Mahan and Hansen) plus the 12 or so Indy CYO alumni who qualified!
  11. I don't know what to think about Hall. SD wrestles a weak schedule, but he beats Viduya fairly easily then gets completely dominated by Smiley who Viduya has beaten three times this season.
  12. The biggest surprise for me was how close Roncalli came to upsetting Perry Meridian at Southport. The team championship wasn't settled until 220 pound finals!
  13. Big wins for Roncalli at New Pal Invite: 113 - #4 Lowery (Ronc) 9-0 MD over #7 Ross (WC) 170 - #8 (182) Mahan (Ronc) Inj. Def. over #6 (170 EV SS) Beineke (JC) - Mahan was up big before default 195 - #6 Hensen (Ronc) 7-2 over #9 Stine (Martinsville)

    New Palestine Invitational

  15. There were several head-to-head matches at the Spartan Classic which would likely change the New Castle SS rankings. For example, Viduya beat Smiley at 126 and Williams beat Greene at 285. I have placewinner names from Spartan Classic but not brackets.
