  1. WOW, it looks like all the sectionals will be iinteresting in their own right. The sectionals with PM, CP and EMD may be the only lopsided ones.
  2. two great kids and extremely hard workers (as are all the kids at the tops of the weight classes) - i would think Kieffer, but would enjoy seeing mckinley win it this year, and next.
  3. ayersman - even though I would have to say it could go either way. I think the experience of being under the lights helps.
  4. I am pretty sure the rankings guy is the real Keyser Soze.
  5. 103 - Boston 112 - Brooks (Phillips, if he wrestled) 119 - Ayersman 125 - Binion 130 - Harvey 135 - Keiffer 140 - Rueger 145 - Edwards 152 - Lefever 160 - Quiroz 171 - Stein 189 - Stevenson 215 - Reece 285 - Henson
  6. Willis over Smith would be 171. What was the score?
  7. I think the 103# matches are highly competitive during the state tournament. Now, if your point is that there are too many forfeits during the season and at sectioanls, then that is another argument. If we get rid of 103# class, in what sport are these kids going to participate? The appealing part about wrestling for me has been it allows kids at all sizes to compete aagainst kids their own size.
  8. Bevans vs. Keiffer - Keiffer won today, but lost in the consolation match last week.
  9. Did Travis Thomas get pinned by Janney in :31, or was it a diff wrestler?
  10. Yorktown does not come within 20 points, like everybody else. Mish has beaten two better teams than Yorktown and has won both by 26 points each.
  11. I don't see Corpe, McCray, Scott, or Green losing.
  12. I think Nelson beats Bradley in the final. Nelson has all the tools.
  13. All this talk about McMurray losing reminds me of the lack of respect given to Josh Harper. If he wasn't hurt, who know how his season would have ended. Until someone beats McMurray, he is the betting favorite.
  14. Todd over Randle Smith over Bratcher Boots over Wiseman
  15. The rat used humanitarian and spelled it correctly. WOW!
  16. Jake Buchanon (Cathedral) wrestled 215lb yesterday at NC and went 5-0.
  17. I was impressed with his ability to turn his opponents. I am not sure what the move was, but I think it was new to everybody, except McMurray. For a freshman, he seemed very comfortable on such a big stage...the same as Tsirtsis.
  18. I'm T.I. double GER ER!! And I'm the only one!
  19. Stevenson - Indian Creek - 215 He may be undefeated, but I doubt many people are picking a sophomore to hold up at a "man's" weight class.
