  1. anyone have individual results?
  2. isn't 106.6 make him 1.6 over
  3. any way they want to do it, it should be the same for all team sports
  4. thanks, the 3 Kieffers are tougher than nails, image having practice partners like these at home year round
  5. never to late, be a good idea to follow warrendad's advice about upcoming summer
  6. show us your upset predictions, makes it interesting
  7. Yorktown vs New Castle 103 and 112 NC 119 depends on YTowns lineup choice Y if Bevins is there, NC if he goes 125 130-285 Yorktown Think this is the year they get past Bellmont
  8. pretty sure he ment he won by fall @1:12 (time, not wght class)
  9. Look for New Castles 103 and 112 to be in finals regaurdless of draw.
  10. Whether their team has a chance at winning or not, I believe it means alot to the kids to be able to say they wrestled in the state finals. That is a memory they will have for life.
  11. I have to add one more name to the list. 1-3 Jason Tsirtsis, Connor Mullins, Jarred Brooks. top 3 freshmen because they are the only 3 to win MS State 3X 4 Anthony "Ace" Quiroz 5 Brenden Campbell 6 Cody Phillips 7 Tyler Willis 8 Quincy Richey 9 Kyle Ayersman 10 Devon Jackson 11 Jared McKinly 12 Blake Ruegrer
  12. 112lbs has 12 state qualifiers over the past 2 years ( Hawkins ans Nelsen ) twice each, plus a 3X middle school state champion, this will be a very tough and competitive wght class.
  13. just as you are entitled to your opinion, so is tkdwn2, if he thought the kid had a chance it's his right to think so
  14. depends on wght class, 103 gotta be NC with Campell, Phillips, McKinley, Price, Todd, Harvey ect... at least one very good wrestler wont advance. same with 112, Nelson, Mullins, Kieffer, Royteck(sp) and the Crawfordsville kid is big and strong.
  15. Breden Campbell, New Castle, 30-0
  16. Midwest Classic at U of I, only $6 for adults and $4 for students. 21 teams Div II, III and NAIA schools Sat and Sun
  17. I coached and traveled across this great nation with Seth and his dad, Seth definately had the potential to be a 4X state champ.
  18. Depends on the draw, may wind up in same bracket
  19. NC has had 33 so far with one snow cancellation, still have 2 dual meets, the Cathedral duals and the NCC tourney before sectionals. Not sure how many times we wrestle at Cath., but I guess we have about 43 matches before sectionals.
  20. I believe there was a 177lb class in '72
  21. New Castle wrestlers 9-0 Mullins (112), Catron (119), Wason (160) 8-0 Campbell (103) (sat one out, JV wrestler won by pin ) 8-1 C. Fellers (130), Rose (135), Marcum (152), Slover (140)
  22. Y2, thanks for clearing that up for me, didn't realize you could still count scratch after the 2lbs were added. You never hear anybody talking about the early wght after the 2 is added.
  23. sounds like your friend meant it was the kids last chance to make scratch wght at a certain wght. he would still be ok for the heavier wght. I believe scratch has to be made by Jan 2 this year.
