  1. I agree those two are the favorites. Don't sleep on the Jimmies though.
  2. 126 -Maynard (Goshen) 220-Daniels is back down to 22o
  3. 106-Boston 113-Brooks 120-Todd 126-Ayersman 132-McKinley 138-Jackson 145-Tsirtsis 152-Mullins 160-Johnson (wins the rematch with Harvey) 170-Willis 182-Lynde 195-Sliga 220-Kral 285-Hall
  4. I would say most people are rooting for her, not against her.
  5. That was a long time ago. Brooks -- Fargo runner-up and Super 32 champ McKinley -- Fargo AA (5th) Ayersman -- ?? I'm not trying to take anything away from Ayersman. He is a stud. In my opinion, he would lose to both if they were all at the same weight again.
  6. 1. Tsirtsis (obviously) 2. Sliga (better resume nationally then anyone else below him) 3. Jackson (no state titles yet but could beat any middleweight except Tsirtsis) 4. McKinley (Possible 2x champ) 5. Brooks (moves past Todd with Super32 win) 6. Ayersman (possible 3x champ) 7. Todd (possible 2x champ) 8. Phillips (possible 3x champ) 9. Willis (check out this guy's resume) 10. Mullins (same with Willis -- impressive resume)
  7. With no more team tournament? I'm guessing most teams will wrestle super duals because you get more matches than tournaments. Just wondering if there's a possibility teams go away from duals/super duals. Team records will be irrelevant. I guess I don't remember wrestling before the team tournament
  8. http://www.win-magazine.com/2012/01/duals-provide-opportunities-for-hero-status/ Interesting article.
  9. Team dual format. Perry Meridian, Penn, Mishawaka, Bloomington South, Whitko, Fairfield, Bellmont.
  10. I've seen you post this a couple of times. So you have beef with this kid? I believe the hype comes from his performance at a preseason tourney.
  11. Crume vs Binion in semis. Winner gets shot at #1
  12. I don't think James and Tsirtsis are the same. Maybe ill be wrong, but I don't think James will be a 4x champ. Also, I think Brooks is on another level than James. The same couldn't have been said about Cashe and Jason.
  13. Merrillville would also be a big favorite at 113. No way James, as talented as he is, keeps it close with Brooks.
  14. Better than those plaid singlets ( Anderson?) I'm more of an Iowa-type singlet guy. Simple and classy.
  15. Agreed, I'm seeing a lot more stoppages to allow wrestler to put on/readjust headgear. It's actually slowing tournaments down.
  16. Maybe I'm in the minority, but a good wrestler is a good wrestler. I think a lot of wrestlers would be successful in any era. Maybe Indiana is producing a lot more studs than we used to, but that doesn't diminish the accomplisments over past wrestlers.
  17. LC has some tough guys: Newkirk, Butts, and Brutus (among others).
  18. Coach - I totally agree with you. I guess my point was in response to you saying you were banged up coming in. So maybe this was a time where it would have benefited you to bring a few extra guys, just in case. Good luck this season.
