ARich got a reaction from Coach Baysinger in What Weight class at what Sectional seems to be the toughest/ most talented?
152 @ Jay County Sectional seems pretty deep with 30-2 Currie returning state placer, 23-2 Dull returning state qualifier, and 16-1 Daniels who after wrestling 145 comes up to 152 (maybe he knows something the rest don't) all capable of winning. Staying in Jay County @ 182 you have 26-1 Summersett and 20-0 Brege to go with a couple pretty solid freshman Wenk and Bluhm.
These 2 weights combining with the Delta Sectional will make for a very rough regional for some adding Jones, Keesling, and Bradenburg at 152, and Ingenito and Page at 182.
Jumping over to 138 @ Delta Sectional seems equally as deep with the return of Delta's Dillion Tuttle after missing most of the season, a truly tough semi-finals match could be in store between Bates and 23-0 Gerencser.
Whats the thoughts about this and/or others.

ARich got a reaction from FWwrestling1996 in Fort Wayne (New Haven) SS Predictions
Thanks for stating facts and for telling me what I know. Here are some facts for you. Fact one you are correct Maddox will be in Ft Wayne this Saturday he showed us by getting through the Regional. Fact two Maddox made a good choice to go up to 195 and avoid Kohler and Hankenson at regional. Fact 3 Maddox has to win 1st two matches Saturday to complete at State. Those are facts not opinions you stated mostly your opinion the only fact you have stated is he has beat Evans twice hope we get to see number 3 this weekend in the finals. -
ARich reacted to AJ in Fort Wayne Semi-State Team Race
Yorktown may have the most champions but not sure they will have the depth to win, but it will be close...
Yorktown and Carroll meet 3 times in the 1st or 2nd round, so those matches will be huge in the team race...
Bellmont looks to have depth, but may lack champions...
Delta has 2 potential champs, but may only have 1 or 2 other placers...
Carroll has some very tough draws but can still produce 4 or 5 placers, with a champion...
Prairie Heights and Jimtown will get guys through but will be very light on champions or finalists...
This will be a very fun and exciting team race... no team looks to be dominant against the field...

ARich reacted to TShipleyViking in Fort Wayne (New Haven) SS Predictions
Good luck to everybody wrestling this weekend, it was an honor to be able to compete at fort wayne semi state 4 years. not everybody has that opportunity, cherish it and be proud of the accomplishment you have made so far, no matter if you advance or not, leave it on the mat and be proud to be apart of the best sport known to man. If you are a wrestler reading this remember, it doesn't matter how many losses you have had this season, or who it was too. It doesn't matter your rank, your school, your record, it matters who shows up for the first 6 minutes, leave it all on the mat. You have plenty of time to regroup and collect yourself for the next round. Wrestle with a clear mind, and a full heart. Good luck to all!

ARich got a reaction from bwoodjc89 in Sage Coy
Sage is fun to watch and very talented. He has only lost 4 matches to this point in High School, he lost his 2nd match of this season wrestling up, twice by 2 injury default last season, and once as a freshman. He is a naturally gifted young man who has and is putting in the work to be a beast. The flip for two was more like a summersault over his opponent but whatever you would like to call it he is explosive gives the fans in the stands something to watch and be entertained by all while simply doing something he loves.....Good Luck to him, Jacob Gray, and Scottie Evans this weekend at state they are key pieces in the rebuilding of a program with a rich wrestling history.
