  1. The word is out and opponents are avoiding being underneath him as much as they can. Very, very rare for any true freshman to be such a hammer on top, especially being from Indiana. It's almost scary to project how nasty he'll be as an upperclassman
  2. Lol, the "portable office" will be open before and after semistate
  3. She's getting better and better all the time. I'm calling my shot--Hildebrandt and Miracle, 2020 Olympians
  4. LC 120 Reid Seymour, Chatard, dec. LC's Datrion Vaughn 6-2 Semis 106 Bailey, Cath all over Smith, LC 7-0. Really controlled all positions Consolations 152 Big upset Ernesto Palomin, Indiana school of the deaf 15-14 over NC senior Justice Dickenson (31-5)
  5. Pretty sure Donathan beat Bailey again. He was tourney outstanding wrestler
  6. Gulibons comeback was huge too. Didn't think Sorensen could touch Retherford...I was very wrong. Amazing dual, my wife even watched and enjoyed
  7. Roncalli dominated. Viduya and Freije were especially impressive. 2nd Chatard 3rd Guerin 4th Brebeuf
  8. Garcia had one of the great and truly surprising state tourneys of the last 15 years.
  9. Hudkins went 5-2, losing by a combined 3 pts, and doesn't place. Tough tourney. Improvement this year for Sliga, but it's not likely we'll see the redshirt freshman version of him again. Red showing he would've been a legit threat to AA as a true freshman.
  10. Merry Christmas to the entire indianamat family
  11. Is that correct? Track shows 29-22 for Brownsburg....ahhh, it was a prediction I get it...congrats to Brownsburg. Sounds like a bloodbath today
  12. Haha, I knew better than to use Switzerland County as an example.
  13. Who's to say it was for athletic reasons? These kids would've had great years competing for Switzerland County (no offense to Switzerland County). They don't need to compete for Portage to have successful seasons. I have zero stake in this matter personally, but CP gains nothing from this, and Portage will be just fine without the brothers. Only the Moran boys pay the price....just because, without any criteria making this case unique. Fingers crossed they get their eligibility back soon
  14. I'm not arguing that these aren't the rules. I'm arguing they are petty and arbitrary, which is the exact opposite of the spirit of youth competition
  15. You're really reaching when you compare public safety to a kid competing in a sporting event. Who gives a crap if portage benefits from a transfer. I'll spare the time of listing the numerous kids who transferred in a way that benefitted the new team, but needless to say CP is one of those teams, as has been mentioned. You acknowledge that enforcement of this rule is arbitrary...so, why is that? It's stupid and puts one team's sour grapes ahead of KIDS playing a sport. Did these kids commit a crime, or engage in unsavory behavior? Nope. They moved. How outrageous
  16. When you say things like an administration is 'drawing a line in the sand', and it somehow supercedes KIDS participating in a sport they love and have worked at for nearly their entire lives...it sounds petty and misguided to say the least. Say it aloud without cringing, I dare you
  17. Yes all day. Let the kids wrestle.
  18. Tough, good kid, gets better and better each year. Congrats.
  19. Awful news regarding former Pike standout wrestler Tre Spencer... http://www.theindychannel.com/longform/wrong-place-wrong-time-the-murder-of-tre-spencer
  20. Joe Lee earns a semis advancement. ..can Brayton join him?
  21. I feel pretty confident that no other free site in the country is anywhere close to what we are lucky enough to have. Love it
  22. Stary Oskol is where the Emelianenko brothers, Fedor and Alexander, are from. The brothers talked about massive street gang fights, where neighborhoods fought each other with weapons, being commonplace in their younger days. Fedor, in typically terse Russian fashion, described Stary Oskol as a "cold, dark place".
