It will be nice to sleep in a bit and not worry about crowds. It’ll be nice to not have to wait Saturday between sessions and can take our sweet time getting lunch.

They might be.  I know the guys would love to wrestle in Team State.  That is what happens when you have 6 freshmen and a hand full of sophomores in your lineup.

Depending on what rankings site you look at Casey is anywhere from just outside top 15 to mid 20’s.  He is looking at getting one more fight in before the new year.

Casey Kenney fights again this Saturday night on ESPN vs Louis Smolka.  

Casey will be at the Jay County Fair this FRIDAY from 5-7 pm to  meet and sign autographs.  

Casey will be fighting in UFC 241 in Anaheim, California August 17.  Heavyweight title fight is also on the card that night.  14-0 Manny Bermudez is his opponent for the fight. 

#15 Kenney with a unanimous decision over #3 Borg in his UFC debut.  

Oof. I don’t know about everyone else, but from what I saw yesterday, it sure wouldn’t seem fun wrestling any of the Ft. Wayne champions first round.

Can you give us some insight as to why 3 was the number selected? Teams with 3 have no chance to get into the current tournament the way it is formatted and no chance to win it.

If the point is to shoot for fairness, change the rule regarding the number of team members to at least seven. As we all know is 7 x 6 = 42 which the most a team could muster out of dual is a tie, which would be highly unlikely. It's not too late to rearrange the classes based on the change. It is IHSWCA not the IHSAA, so the rules can be changed.

At ECIC, Hemmelgarn pinned Hayden 2:57.

East Central Indiana Classic (ECIC) will be held on December 23.

Jay County has 2 finalist. Andy Kohler at 182 and Levi Hummel at 170.

Union City is having practice today.  Confirmed this with their AD about 30 minutes ago.  No allowance will be given unless a school contacts JCHS and they can't practice.
