There's a new Harolds Chicken Shack south on Indianapolis just over the big bridge in Hammond. Usually can't go wrong buying chicken or bbq from place with the bullet proof serving window. Harolds is famous in Chicago making the move into Indiana now.

That's the nice thing about the area,it's not full of your typical chain/franchise restaurants. You can step out of your comfort zone and still get some great food that you normally wouldn't have the option of getting outside of the region.

El Ranchero for authentic mexican cuisine in EC on Main St, Zel's for beef or chili cheese fries in EC on Columbus Dr, Aurelio's Pizza in Hammond just off tollway exit at Calumet Ave, or in Whiting just north of EC Beggars Pizza or Center Lounge on 119th St.

The Traicoff was not their DAC conference dual. Their DAC dual was the weekend that Portage was in Detroit.

If a shoelace comes untied, it obviously wasn't properly secured to begin with. Its a chance you take by not taping or using velcro to secure the laces. As far as the concussion situation , with all the emphasis on concussion safety it makes a lot of sense to let the medical personnel have the whole minute and a half to evaluate the wrestler, Safety first -

With 5 county teams ( EC, Lowell, CP, Mville and Morton) missing and a lot of non full teams, there is plenty of room. Perhaps Hebron and Boone Grove should try and get in also

Don't count on it. On IllinoisMatmen.com it seems Renteria is having issues making 120 . He missed weight at The Clash last week and from what it says on that site, he hasn't wrestled this season yet.

Really? Why would they cancel? All kids are here already. So you must think everyone should get a medal too. Come on its wrestling not soccer.

The Front Page is great for lunch . Great burgers good " beverage" selection. Little north of downtown area but there won't be all the crowds like any place near the stadium. . I think it's on Massachusetts ave.

1981-84 we had state weigh in 3rd Thursday in December . Jan 1 2lb allowance then Feb 1 another pound. I do remember not having one in the 90s for year or two.
