kaide
Carver looked dominant. Tech falls and pins. Lucas Boe dominated at cadet 160. MJ Staples almost beat a state placer at cadet 152. Those 3 stood out because those are 3 middle schoolers that I saw wrestle that looked really impressive
Hereforthe2s
Keep an eye out for William Grafton-Hodgetts from CP, he’s a dark horse. Took 4th 14U 102. Won against some hammers. Beat Verduzco in the Consi Semi’s 6-1 Edited March 14, 2023 by Brian Ladwig
MatTime
Aiden Kincaide was also dominant at 16u 145. Pinning his way to the finals and then a tough match for the championship. Looking good for next year. Lincoln Hinchman at 14u 110 winning through by fall all the way to the finals where he won his 3rd straight title by decision. Haedyn Cochran 12u 70 pinned through to the semis, then decision, then a 26 second pin in the finals to earn his 3rd straight. Agree with Carver. Connor Maddox added a state title to go with his middle school title by winnning the 14u 77 over a strong and impressive Spenser McCammon. Dallas Rosenbarger 14u 92 had an impressive tournament. Tech falls and majors until he met an equally impressive young man in the finals. Picked up his first title. One of the biggest surprises was the 14u 87 bracket. The Treveon and Tate match was interesting. So many great matches. The 12u 74 bracket was also a good one with Elias Faith and Deacon Gibbs. Case Bell wins his 8th straight... Some real studs looking to make things exciting in the next few years.
