Ugh I can't believe I'm doing this, but in defense of Brownsburg, their coaches and parents do not come on here and pound their chests. The hash tag garbage was a different school in their county. If I rooted against Brownsburg kids it has everything to do with the success of their program. They're doing something right over there and I love to see the giant get slayed. Have to beat the best to be the best and right now the kids in purple are the giants. Ok I have to go shower.

Avon is well coached and the kids are tough as nails. I love the fact that their parents are emotionally attached to the program! That's a definite sign of a successful program. Matt Brewer has given a lot to IN wrestling, not just #THE COUNTY.

Here are the salaries of the ISWA leaders...
Chairman (a.k.a. President) - $0
Vice Chairman (x2) - $0
Treasurer - $0
Secretary - $0
 
The ISWA only has 2 paid positions, the office workers, who make close to minimum wage.
The ISWA is a not-for-profit organization and is required by law to publish their annual budget that shows a 0 net profit.  Ask a local club rep to see a copy since it is always provided in the annual meeting information.
 
JMILL is correct that USAW sets the membership prices for coaches, athletes, and officials.  The money goes to USAW, but they do give back a small portion (maybe $5  per membership) to the states.  If the ISWA were really only about the money, then they should discourage coaches from buying membership and collecting the $10 gate per state tournament from each coach.  Letting the coaches in for free is costing them a lot of money.

come on Bobbuck...........you might have some leg to stand on but you really should have posted before all the people who really hate the ISWA posted and said its a good idea and its about time and they support it for the safety of the kids.
 
I mean seriously it is listed above to clearly say the ISWA does not get any money from this new procedure and actually will "money grab" less money now that every "bobbuck" with a USA coaches card, background check and copper certification gets in free............unless you are concerned about the new process for some reason ?????

Can't help you on the ISWA inquiry, BobBuck..but I can give you some posting tips!
 
1. If you want to use "Quote" hit the "Quote" button then type your meanderings right underneath it..as compared to what you did above.
2. To get a prompt response from JMILL, our designated ISWA board rep, you will need to "like" your own posts above. He loves that stuff.

as stated above the ladies at the office can help with this situation.............but Please wait until Monday as they are both a little stressed with having studs trying to win state this weekend !!!!

Prepare for disappointment then sir.......happens to all of us at some point or another............like this last weekend when the announcer at middle school state asked everyone to sit down behind the tables that were standing but wasn't talking to weisjahn because he didn't know he was standing up (I kid.I love the guy man)

I have a beginner in 5th grade.  He does our club and an academy because even though he's new, he's fallen in love with the sport.  
 
Neither the club nor the academy has been anything but a great experience...even if he (and his family) are as green as they come to the sport.  And the improvement that has come from having to bring his lunchpail to the academy every practice has been immense.  
 
Proud of #TheCounty and #PainTrain .  My kid might be the epitome of what building a program is about, because even if he never becomes "elite" or even wrestles at the high school...he's at least giving the sport a shot with really good valuable instruction and we will see what happens from here.  
 
He never expressed a desire to wrestle until after a year ago when we attended our first State Finals at BLF and watched 8 of "ours" compete in that great event.  From there, he wanted to give it a shot so he did with the high school club.  He quickly fell in love and wanted to supplement and "catch up" (his words) by also attending an academy.  He is fired up about representing his school club and his academy at every turn.  We are really fortunate because these are not mutually exclusive entities.  They build off each other if done well.  

I would have to assume (I know what they say)............there are likely only 15 people and their families that are not pulling for Breydan to finally get to the top of the podium this year.  Good Luck young man !!!

Well Coach Kern good luck to you and your wrestler this weekend, but unfortunately I can not get down on the floor to say hello (that is only a feat that TeamGarcia can pull off) but I will waive to you from my seat and cheer for your 285 (unless he is wrestling my guy slick rick from #TheCounty & #PainTrain).

We may see him Saturday morning.

They actually got me all fixed up in a matter of seconds. Hopefully that didn't deter them from this weekend. I've always had good luck communicating with the ISWA. I know some have differing opinions, but I do appreciate the work they put in.

its funny on this site at times because when you are consistently using the "#'s" people are upset and get bent out of shape.  Sometimes the administrators even create backdoor rules so the use of a "#" then is posted as saying something else like "Triple B is my homeboy"............but stop using them for a few days and the people start making posts begging for them to come back and needing the security of reading all things "#"
