Team Race

Columbus North has 10 place winners back with 2 champs and 3 runners up look to be the paper favorites.

Franklin Community comes in to the Jennings County Sectional with some experience with tough sectionals. 9 returning place winners look to navigate their new route state.

Columbus East only has 8 returning place winners but to count out the Olympians completely is lunacy. Coach Cooper has been building a deep program that can withstand the loss of a senior class that was both talented and hardworking.

This will definitely make the team race more interesting.  Indian Creek will be bringing over some studs that will shake things up.  Not sure about Franklin as they are coming out of one of the toughest (if not the toughest) regionals in the state.  Rest assured,Tonte will have his crew ready.  Salem brings a couple ssq over as well.  With these additions the stage is set for some ssq's from last year that may not make it out of sectional.

Batton down the hatches, North Vernon will be lit in late January. 

 

In 2-3 this sectional will take off - Franklin, Indian Creek, Both Columbus Schools, Madison and Jennings all have strong feeder programs w/ mutliple youth state placers. Gonna be a dog fight!

 

The Southern Indiana Wrestling League's development of wrestlers will really start to show through!

Franklin had a really young squad last year, but some of them did preform well in a very tough sectional.  Tonte definitely will be looking to build on that this year in a new sectional/regional.

Will any Johnson county kids looking to avoid Mooresville regional be transferring to Franklin community? Indian Creek over the next 4 years have a bunch of state caliber studs coming in, Franklin kids have always been tough as nails, that will probably never change.  I feel like JC sectional will dominate the Jeff regional.
