brickfor6
Wrestling stat nerd post…..I was bored after the Super Bowl and thought….” I wonder what percent of state qualifiers placed at Al Smith?” 106- 3 of 8 113- 6 of 8 120- 6 of 8 126- 5 of 8 132- 4 of 8 138- 4 of 8 145- 4 of 8 152- 7 of 8 160- 4 of 8 170- 4 of 8 (Law is now 160) 182- 5 of 8 195- 2 of 8 220- 5 of 8 285- 3 of 8 62 of 112 Al Smith placers qualify for state. Just over 55% There are a few going to state that did not place at Al Smith too. 7 of 16 qualifiers at 152 placed at Al Smith! Happy State Week everyone! TysonNisley
Funny thing too, is that at 120, 6 of the 8 placers are qualifiers, but the guy who WON the tournament is not a qualifier this year. What a funny little tournament we have here. D-train, MUSKEEWRESTLER and FCFIGHTER170

Can Brady place this year they say 3rd times a charm! This al Smith group at 120 was/is a bunch of hammers

That is impressive, but... 62 of 112 (55%) is not the percent of state qualifiers that placed at Al Smith. It is the percent of Al Smith placers that qualified for state. 62 of 224 (27.7%) is the percent of state qualifiers that placed at Al Smith.
