I'll update the matches Hook highlighted (underlined) in his preview earlier this week. 106 - Kameron Kendall (N Posey) dec Mark Hall (Ev Reitz) 9-4. Casebolt, Rice and Egli all win by fall. 113 - All chalk in round 1. This does eliminate MD frosh Blaine Mayer. Sets up an interesting semifinal between Horty (Ev Mem) and McKinney (Princeton) 120 - Luke Dunn (Princeton) dec 38-3 David Teague (Tell City) 7-4. Upset? 126 - Caleb Craig (Ev. Reitz) dec Harley Gorman (Mt. V) 6-4 with what appeared to have furious action late. I like the semifinals here w/ Joe Happe (MD) vs. Craig and Logan Dillbeck (Gib So) vs. Carson Willis (Castle) 132 - Josh Elpers (Ev North) by fall over Joe Craig (Tell City) setting up a rematch with Castle's Braedon Clopton. 132 - Nolan Schaefer (Ev Mem) dec Michael Polen (Gib So) 2-0. 132 - It has become obvious there is no way Nick Lee will beat Chad Red. Nick took :49 to win by fall, a full :36 seconds longer than the :13 Red took to finish his first match. Should be headed to a Jourdan vs. Ramsey final 145 - As expected the Central Sectional sweeps the first round, with all wins by fall. Should be nothing but fun the rest of the way. Can all four find their way to the top at SS too? 152 - Micah Keller (Mt. V) by fall over Castle's frosh William Nunn, Memorial's Chance Williams looks to get back to form and wins by TF setting up a semifinal vs. 2014 SS qualifier Hunter Baehl (Gib So). 160 - Shawn Coane (Ev N) dec Knowah Rodgers (HHills) 4-2 SV-1. MD's Hunter Carr brings his record to 5-5 w/ a Maj dec win. He dropped 3 straight at Team State at 170. Seems to be settling in at 160. Can he upset Castle's Jacob Farmer? 170 - Mitchell Brown (Ev Mem) did not wrestle. He injury def in the last match in the sectional. Nate McDowell (Wood Mem) by fall over Raymond Garnett (Ev Bosse). Sturgeon had to wrestle back to get 4th at the Castle Sectional, losing to Memorial's Chris Voegel in the quarterfinals and in the match for 3rd/4th. Voegel lost his first round match today to Louis Hoover (Wood Memorial). 195 - No surprises here, setting up Hook's recommended viewing of Kyle Lane (Mt. SWINfan Posted February 6, 2016 Share Posted February 6, 2016 A few SS results (pardon if there are duplications from 1prouddad's posts) 113 - Horty (Mem) by fall over McKinney (Princeton) 120 - Castle's Neal Bealmear dominates Levi Miller (N Posey) WBF after a huge lead 126 - Two 2nd placers from sectional battling in the final, Craig (Reitz) vs. Dillbeck (GSo) Sectional winners Happe (MD) and Willis (Cast) will fight for 3rd. 132 - Lee vs Elpers in the final. Lee took a slow 2:49 to pin Schaefer. Red only :14 in his semifinal match. Draw your own conclusions. 138 - Jourdan vs Ramsey as expected. 145 - Lee vs. Bethel rematch. Lee took :32 to take out Wilson. Bethel a more methodical 4-2 win over Burke. 160 - Farmer (Cast) vs. ONeal (Pike C) - Hook, how good is ONeal? I guess we shall see! 195 - Barclay dec Lang in one of Hook's matches to watch. Will face Wilderman. 220 - Probably the biggest upset of the day so far? MD's Michael Boots dec Tristan Choate (Mt.
