Team State qualification leaderboard 2023 (FINAL)

Southern teams from the same conference no less. Pac has had the champ the last 4 years and runner up 2 of the last 4 years -
Lost to Hinshaw twice, Schroeder from Southridge (195), the finals of Connersville (not sure who against), and Montgomery of West Vigo i don’t remember his other loss

We (pike central) have had 16 at conditioning every day and the first week of practice. Football ended this week and should be getting 7-10 more from them. first year for me and my coaching staff here (5 different head coaches over the last 6 years)

I know he was weighing no more than 195 at the PAC duals in mid December. He wrestled 195 there against Pike Central and Schroeder from Southridge bumped up to 195 to face him. (which Willman won by pin)

What is also impressive about this particular group is 1,2, and 4 are from same regional. That is a rare feat as well

Castle back 2017 sent 13 to semistate and every one of them had a death draw of some sort and none advanced to state.

DJ Radnovich from Gibson southern in 1998 pinned all 4 opponents to win state. Finished 48-0 with 47 pins. also, I believe I’d seen before that James Dickerson from new castle in 1995 did the same thing
