dkelich
I want to congratulate Cody and wish him luck as I heard today that his redshirt will be taken off so he can wrestle varsity 149 at Central Michigan. He will do great things. Proud of this young man on and off the mat. Loki27, Arabian WC, zachpierson and 2 others

Barrq
Is this a good thing or not? Has he lost his redshirt year now? If this is what he wanted then it's great if he had to fill a spot because of a teammate injury then not so great just wondered if this is what he want's. dkelich
I would say it is a good thing for Cody. Very competitive and his dad couldn't be more proud. We will definitely see him as an All American before he his done. Love is work ethic. And he defeated a kid from Buffalo. Gives him a conference win right out of the gate. dkelich
An update on Cody. Heard he wrestled 157 (weighs 153, must've hit a growth spurt on that D1 workout) and lost 2-1 to the #10 ranked 157 lb in the nation. Hopefully he can settle into a weight and make a run to AA with his redshirt being gone. I know he has the work ethic and mental toughness. Best of luck to Cody! bluemonster
Cody is a competitor first and foremost. We as his family are very proud of him. He has stepped up and done what his team has asked of him. He will be very successful with or without a redshirt. He represents Perry Meridian and the state of Indiana at the highest point! carseller0822, D.Schjoll and quinnsDAD
