Should be an exciting match I heard that Miracle destroyed the pioneer kid earlier this year. Like tech fall or something. One of the Pioneer coaches said it was total domination. MattM Posted February 5, 2012 Share Posted February 5, 2012 I'm not sure it happens too much (we haven't had this situation very long in semi-state), but its a possibility. the 4 vs 1 match up I believe helps to further equal the regionals with certain strong weights against those with certain weak weights. Win or lose it is usually also a wake up call to several the first place regional guys to not over look anyone from here on out in the tournament. The first round of semi-state definitely shows from there are no real warm-up matches left for most wrestlers and if your not ready from the first whistle you may find yourself struggling to stay in the tournament.
