Maybe Jackson shouldve gone 130 during the season.

Trevor Moody was 5-2 instead of 3-2. He lost a tough 7-5 match to a 2x state champ from OH in the round to place. He also beat Steven Fernandez an Oklahoma state champ 7-2. Fermandez had beat Molloy earlier in the tournament.\

Blake Rueger was 3-2, but beat Andrew Morse who was a Michigan state champ and with Blake being his only loss during the tournament went on to take 3rd. Blake lost a tough 2-0 match to PA guy giving up near fall at the buzzer in the round to place.

While Gideon Van Hook was 0-2, he had a 4 point lead in both matches only to go on to lose.

my point is I would guess it would of been pretty hard for Devon to get to 130.

I think you mean pretty hard for him to maintain 130.  Someone mentioned earlier you were allowed to wrestle at your lowest certified weight so I would suspect Jackson would have had to make 130 at one point during the year.  I would agree he may not have been comfortable regularly trying to cut to that weight, but was able to maintain his weight around 135 during the school year.

Boston continues to impress me and the rest if our state I'm sure. I really can't wait to wee what the future holds for him. I only saw his finals match at state, the interview after and watched hime destroy the field at team state, but WOW!
