jchas
Looks like you must sign up for middle school state by next Wed. I am trying to decide what weight to put my son. He is right in between 2 weight classes. What do they need to be wearing when they weigh in? 3 pounds seams like a lot but I guess that depends on what they have on. jap1971
I would think Chandler Carroll would be one of the favorites at 102, if he doesn't go to 95.
cjl123
Chandler for sure would be a favorite at 102..Hard to say where everyone might be going with the 3lb allowance with gear on.
jap1971
What do headgear, shoes, singlet, kneepads, etc. weigh? Can't be the full 3 lbs. My guess would be 2 lbs. at most.
cjl123
I would say about 2 pounds also..Alot better than last year 5lbs ..I think its fair

4hhhh
What about Hunter Fox? Won folkstyle & freestyle state last year and was runner up at middle school state as a 6th grader. Dont know what he's going but I would think 95 or 102.
cjl123
Yes you would have to throw Hunter Fox in that mix as well...
wrestlingmom812
I am wondering why they aren't releasing the wrestler list until the night before...once registration closes what difference will it make? You can't change anything after it closes...

lpd096
80lbs: Drew Hughes 85lbs: Jake Tucker I would imagine Brock Morgan and Kayla Miracle will be at 85lbs too...? Jake Sinkovics at 75lbs? or 80lbs? 90lbs: Darden Schurg, Tanner Shipley. Perhaps Tyler Fleener? 90lbs-95lbs: C.J. Alexander, perhaps Brandon James? Chase Osborn? Middle School State is always stacked, a real meatgrinder! Can't wait!
matmaster
jake Tucker I have to agree with the Tucker pic. Hughes at 80 0r 85 will also be a tough one to beat. I see both of these boys being state Champs at either weight. Kayla is right in that mix. Both weight classes will be a dog fight. Good luck to all,

ttfd746
I found this information on the IHSWCA website. Hopefully, it is correct. If not please don't shoot the messenger. The doors open @ 7:30am. All wrestlers need a valid USA wrestling card. Medical release form must be turned in between 7:30-8:30am. Wrestling begins @ 9:00am. What does ?in uniform? mean? (for weigh-in) In uniform means you are wearing anything that you will wear when you wrestle (except headgear) including, but not limited to, shoes, and singlet.
