Wow, Paula I have a feeling I will be in your shoes next year. I don't have a dog in this fight but I will say that The Marlers are a class act. I have never seen anyone so dedicated to this sport or their kid and I am proud to call them my friends! I will be at regionals tomorrow and you will hear me cheering for kids from Jeff, NA, Floyd and New Wash. Why? Because first and foremost, they are great kids! We have met some of the most awesome people over the course of the past several years, and it's all because of wrestling. Just a side note...what is up with the FC kids not shaking the coaches hands? :-X

I just wanted to let everyone know that my son, Brandon, who was injured at Folkstyle State on Sunday is doing okay. He has a slipped disc and is out for the season but he's up walking, talking and doing well. Not happy about the cervical collar he is stuck in or not being able to wrestle freestyle and greco but with any luck he will be back on the mat for his freshman season! Thanks to everyone for their prayers and thoughts!

I love the new format however, it is inaccurate and misleading. My son's profile contains information for two different kids with the same name. It also lists a win by desc when in fact that paticular win was actually a pin...If the kinks could be worked out it would be awesome!

All the placers for New Albany wrestling club will be attending New Albany High School next year.

at 140. 5/6th place match Brandon Davis pinned Robert Ralph in the first period. I also noticed a mistake on track wrestling with his second match, says he pinned Link Dierks in 1:20 it was actually just :20. Not that it really matters just wondering why there are so many mistakes...

140's got some quality kids, my son is really excited for this weekend. The weight classes are really stacked from 125 through 140 (those are the ones I looked at as we have kids wrestling most of those weights!) so there ought to be some great matches!

Lots of excellent wrestlers participating! We are looking forward to a great day of wrestling! I believe actual brackets will be posted Saturday night. I think I read somewhere they are using vertical pairing.
