AJ
Looking at the final rankings and the state results, the rankingsguy is almost scary: 103 RG had Campbell #1 and Phillips #2. Considering Campbell was hurt and could not compete. I give this one to RG. 112 Had Hawkins #1 119 Had Eppert at #2. 125 Has Tsirtsis #2 130 Had Porras #2 135 Had March #3 140 Had Sandefer #1 145 Had Young #2 152 Had McMurray #1 160 Had Runyan #1 171 Had Duckworth #1 189 Had Shrewsbury #1 215 Had Baker #1 HW Had Chalfant #1 Rankingsguy had 9 final number 1 ranked wrestlers win state. Only 1 wrestler was outside the final 2 in the rankings, and that was March at #3! Great job Rankingsguy and I hope you return next year to keep giving us some grwat rankings. XCard
I agree, if this guy ever decides to get into a pick'em contest he could be dangerous.
RankingsGuy
Thank you AJ. I had a long ride home today to take a look and really examine how the rankings did. 17 unranked kids got medals. 0 of them were state champs, 1 was a state runner-up, 0 of them were 3rd, 2 of them were 4th, 0 of them were 5th, 3 of them were 6th, 7 of them were 7th, and 4 of them were 8th. I'd like to personally extend congratulations and apologies to Dusty Kief of Franklin, Alex Gregory of Penn, Keon Jones of Merrillville, Josh Julian of Lebanon, Dalton Sparks of Peru, Adam Howland of Brownsburg, Derek Fisher of Martinsville, Ricky Furar of Angola, Andrew Seitz of Castle, Jacob Milenbaugh of Columbus North, Jeff Weiss of Heritage Hills, Joey Smith of Mishawaka, Antonio Halbert of New Palestine, Bob Floyd of Delphi, Daniel Rothgeb of Whitko, Randy Kaufman of Rensselaer, and Dylan Green of Kokomo for escaping notice in the final regular season rankings and still taking home state medals. ontherise219
Nice Job. It is tough only ranking the top 16 if you did the top 25 you might not have missed anyone
justadadnow
Also consider that in some cases there were morethan 4 ranked wrestlers from the same SS in same wght class, since only 4 could advance, he couldn't get everyone in there. GREAT JOB
tabbcam
Dustin Kief was unranked, ended up under the lights....
