    My thoughts and prayers are with the Bowman family. I served overseas as well and I know this is a family's biggest fear. The article seems to have a positive outlook for his well being though. If he's well enough to travel back to the states that is usually a good sign. God bless!

    I don't see how they can justify sending a kid to state who didn't even compete. And I completely agree with The Guru's statement. That looked like a bad heavyweight match.

    Glad to see some Indiana boys making some noise. I was really looking forward to Chalfant winning it. He lost to the kid who won it by 1 point earlier this season. Third place is definitely great though! Good job Adam and the rest of the Indiana boys!

    Would you say this is the most competitive team state ever? It seems except for the LN-Delphi match every team has been in it. What a tournament!

    Wow.......the lack of knowledge of the broadcasters is sickening. "So do they have a draw?" Yea, they have a draw in the state semi finals. Congrats to Lawrence North though. What an upset!

    I'd go with Tsirtsis. Not only is he going for #4, but he seems to be a great young man as well. I saw at semi state and state where a little kid came up to meet him and he was all smiles and courtesy to the little guys.

    Mason Todd was so impressive this weekend! Has anyone else rode Brooks out all year? He is like glue on top! Congratulations young man.

    That is a great story. Getting those letters means so much to the service men and women serving. And for him to get the opportunity to thank those students in person is just awesome. It's good you're getting some time with your brother. I know how precious leave is, that time on leave is as good as gold!

    Question #2: Who do the rules apply to? Are there special exceptions? I don't think the homeschooling bill would be bad for Indiana. Often it's not the choice of the child to be home schooled. So if they want to be in team sports I don't see why they shouldn't be able to.

    Yea, go ahead and suggest that recommendation to the IHSAA. Heck, if the wrestler is high profile enough, Cox may actually agree with you.

    Well, unfortunately for you, the rule book disagrees. As long as the use of the drug (inhaler) is used within the allotted time then they can continue. Maybe you should write the IHSAA if you're so concerned with the situation. It would probably be a little more constructive than booing a 16 year old kid.

    So you're suggesting asthmatic wrestlers shouldn't be allowed to use their inhalers? You're a thinker. It takes a whole heck of a lot more than a "break to recover" to win the Merrillville semi state as a sophomore. Sounds like a case of sour grapes here. I hope Mitch Hartman raises that bracket and gold medal with a smile on his face Saturday night while people like you boo him.

    I saw Berry for the first time on Saturday and that young man is put together very well. He is very muscular but he is also athletic. I was really impressed with him. Best of luck to you Berry!

    Did you not see that every time he was "catching his breath" that he was using an inhaler? Maybe, just maybe, he has severe asthma. A minute into his ticket match he had to use the inhaler. You think he was gassed a minute into the match? Would you prefer we don't take injury time for kids who need to use an inhaler? You should think before you speak/type.
