Our varsity 2 could have 3 or 4 state qualifiers. IMO
and it would depend which semi sate they went through as well. Fort Wayne vs Evansville?? Big difference.

In the fresh set of east chi semi-state rankings CP has all 14 guys ranked in the SS with 12 in the top 4. This has me curious to what type of depth both CP and B-burg have out of their backups? How many state qualifier caliber wrestlers are there in the two rooms that won't even be in the starting line up come sectionals. I'm not all that familiar with either programs schedule, but I assume the "JV" squads wrestles in mostly varsity level tournaments on Saturdays and I'm curious how they have faired. It would be interesting to see how those squads might matchup with some of the stronger 1A or 2A teams
It would be nice if large teams like Brownsburg varsity #2 could go through the state tournament. They'd win some sectionals and advance some through regionals and possibly semi state. I am not sure how good CP #2 V is.

More wrestling is always a good thing.....but - I'm not sure where I fall on this one (personally). Seems to be a bit of overkill....
I love it. It’s building up the sport of wrestling in Indiana. Kids who stay on JV have a chance to be a state champ and / or work towards something.

I think it would be a good dual
106- #1Boyd delta vs #20 Alstadt MD
113- #3 Bollinger delta vs #14 Schafer MD
120-#19 Jackson delta vs #8 Henderson MD(soon to be moving up)
126- #5 Neal Moiser Delta vs #1 Schafer MD
132- Mosier Delta vs Grant Voelker MD
138- Brayden Swain (Delta) vs #19 Baumann MD
144- Zeke Witter (Delta) vs Nick Herrmann MD
150- #15 Rhonemus Delta vs #8 Vanover
157- Drayton Swanson (Delta) vs Kaden Farmer MD
165- #8 Stebbins delta (soon to be moving up) vs #19 Turner MD
175- #8 Russall Delta vs Drew Schapker MD
190- Andrew Rufenbarger (Delta) vs Caden Thacker MD
215- Wine Delta vs Weinzapfel MD
285- Moss Delta vs Kunkler MD
Closer dual than I thought but MD still pulls out the W.
Delta favorites at 106, 113, 144, 165, 175, and possibly 215, 285. MD wins by bonus points and upsets.

What did cultural differences mean when they used the phrase? Seems only one side is allowed to use the phrase.
No idea... but I'd guess a culture of low standards of protecting the safety and security of fans and students during games since that is what I recall that happened.

It's also interesting to note that Center Grove and Carmel both left the MIC due to "cultural differences", publicly stating that no less.
Well when you are at a football game and gunshots are going off outside the stadium, why would you want your fans and students to be anywhere near that stuff?

Whining about a 7th vs. 8th place match between two teams who already had a dual meet at full strength... hilarious.
It’s not about 7th or 8th place. It’s about the quality of the matchup that will help prepare the wrestlers for the tournament.

Dang shots fired at Delta run the dual 80’s vs 90’s dynasty
Do you think Detla could beat Mater Dei?

Avon got shafted... they were expecting an additional match and Warren Central bounced out. Why?? They actually have a very good team and would have beat PM with a full lineup.

4A matchup between two nationally ranked powerhouses!!
106 Ogle 18 vs Newell 16
113 Dickman 1 vs Lewis 4
120 Haines 4 vs Jendreas 1
126 Haines / Reynolds 4 vs Hawkins 2
132 Hockaday 1 vs Sessa 7
138 Ison 3 vs Shepard 1
145 Reynolds 2 vs Washington 7 / Baca/Jones
152 Gibbs 3 vs Cruz 5
157 Day 7 vs Van Tielcht 10
165 Derring 14 vs Rhinehart 1
175 UR Campbell vs UR White
190 Henry 1 vs Reading 8
220 Brewer 6 vs Clark 1
285 Forrester 4 vs Clark 1
Questions-
How much will bumping come into play?
Can Brewer and Forrester avoid being pinned agin by the Clark brothers?
Can Henry rebound from a near loss against UR Mater Dei kid to get the bonus points BB needs?
Can Shephard prove the first match when he beat Ison wasn't a fluke?
Tossups (pretty much every match) but 106 and 175 will be huge!
Will Washington be in the lineup? Baca and Jones have wrestled today. Who gets the nod at 145?
