    I believe that became illegal in the 80's.

    It does not work that way. In the 16 man brackets no first round results are scored for team points. So it does not matter if you win a match, get a forfeit or get a bye. All team scores are 0 after the first round. Winning in the 2nd round after getting a bye does not get any points for the bye.

    How about on page 78 of the Winter Bulletin. Number 3? "3. A student may weigh in at a meet even though he/she may not be eligible to compete in that meet"

    With this in the IHSAA bylaws how are they giving you another answer? Ineligible Students Q. 60-9 May a temporarily ineligible wrestler be weighed in at dual meets or tournaments where his School is participating for the purpose of meeting minimum weight classification requirements for the State Tournament Series? A. Yes.

    How does the official sign the scorebook if you do not have a paper scorebook?

    I could not find them. My AD could get them. He called the IHSAA to find out why I as the coach could not get them on my computer. He was told they want us to go through the AD's to get the documents.

You said "Actually, we will have 11 kids who have been varsity starters over the last two years" What was the records of those other 3 guys? Southridge returns 113 31-10 120 18-23 126 26-15 132 26-12 145 30-5 152 26-8 160 43-3 182 23-8 195 21-15 285 34-10 Nine guys with winning records. Also one wrestler who was injured and not able to wrestle most of the year. He had a record of 37-10 at 132 the year before. Rochester returns 106 18-17 113 27-10 120 10-19 126 24-11 132 3-7 138 24-9 145 32-5 152 30-7 160 30-6 170 7-14 182 33-8 195 9-11 285 18-16 Nine guys with winning records. Looking at what all three teams have coming back does it still feel ridiculous to you? Which team would you take out to move Garrett in?

    The site host does have access to that alpha master reports. There was a issue with my teams (Tecumseh) report. It showed that one of my wrestlers did not have any qualifying weigh ins in the month of January. We have to have one in January. When I checked the alpha master report said he did not have any. When I went to his individual weight loss report it showed he had 5 qualifying weigh ins in January. When I went back to the page with the alpha master report is then showed he did have the January qualifying weigh in. At that time all my wrestlers had a January weigh in. Two hours latter that same report said 6 of my guys did not have the January weigh in. Something was wrong with the states website.
