The reversal thing is something I struggled with initially, but in the end am fine with. Why do you think a reversal and take down should be worth the same amount? Just curious on another's perspective.
 
This scoring situation didn't seem to cause any more stalling at the college level...in fact, it seemed to open things up. Bottom wrestlers eager to get out so they can get to closing the gap, top wrestlers eager to take chances because a) there is a bigger reward to trying to expose the opponent's back and b) if it doesn't work out, they're still up 2 points and not just 1.

I believe you are correct if Mendez continues tracking on his current path.
 
4X HS State Champ, NCAA Champ as a true sophomore & competed very well on the senior level at the latest Olympic Trials beating McKenna, Green & Diakomihalis then only losing to Retherford 3-2.
 
Very impressive for someone who is only 20 or 21 years old.
 

Thanks guys.  I very much appreciate the support I’ve gotten from the Brownsburg wrestling community, and the Central Indiana wrestling community as a whole.  I’m firmly convinced that being involved in this great sport has been a key factor in my fight.

From what I understand the kid from Tennessee actually went to CP through like JH. Hoping those Delta boys stay home but wish the best to them no matter where they end up!

Davison definitely deserves some love. That was one heck of a tournament run. Unfortunately Kerkvliet stood in the way of a story book ending.
 
But hey he gave us Indiana boys two NCAA D1 finalists & fun ride.

Agreed.  I hope B Lee has a great run and AA's this year.  At team state this year in Bburg, I happened to be standing next to him while watching the CP/Bburg match.  I got a chance to shake his hand and wish him luck this year.  What an absolutely great and humble person.  It's easy to root for him!

Gotta be one of the first college signees ever from Indiana whose team didn't have a spot for him in the sectional lineup--and he's going to a D1 school. Nuts!! He's a beast. He deserves it.

Howe wrestling school has added drop ins. If in town or around come get a workout in. 

Coach Frepan is an outstanding wrestling coach but he is an even better person.  We are so proud to have him as part of the Brownsburg Wrestling Family and so thankful he won this battle.  I can’t imagine how difficult it was for him and his family.  You are freaking stud coach!

I coach at the other Brownsburg middle school and am proud to be a colleague of this warrior. You won’t find better man in our wrestling community.
 
Last night, his team won the Hendricks County middle school wrestling tournament by over 100 points! It’s a VERY tough tournament full of current and future state champs. His team is awesome, and brings Coach Frepans warrior attitude each time they walk onto the mat. 

Coach Frepans team will finish the season this Saturday at our conference tournament in Zionsville (another stacked tournament). It Would be pretty cool to see coach Frepans team win him another team title!!
