I've heard rumblings out of the South, but it would be inappropriate to speculate quite yet.

The Transfer Portal is always very active this time of year!

If you think about it, kind of stinks for anyone #16 or better to be against a higher ranked guy in the ticket round. Wrestling (like life) isn't fair and maybe it's incentive to work harder for the next season, unless it unfortunately happens to a senior.

In IHSAA world, where both seeding and wrestlebacks are evil. I can understand not seeding SS as you have regional 1 vs 4 and so on, but adding wrestlebacks would make it closer to having the best wrestlers advancing, not the luckiest draws.

144 - Weaver/Cooksey had an exciting match in the regular season with Weaver getting the win 2-0. It was chippy at the end with the young sophomore not backing down from the undefeated senior. This matchup will be fun to watch again.

My name is Maxwell Lacey and I am currently a resident athlete at the Indiana RTC here in Bloomington IN. I am still currently competing on the Senior world circuit at 97kg. I am very new to the Indiana Mat online space but was told this was a good place to get in touch with wrestling people in the area. Im looking to get involved in the Bloomington/Indy  and surrounding area wrestling community, as I have a very high skill level. I can offer unique and tailored training from fundamental basics to world class level techniques and strategies I have attached some information that further breaks down what I can offer. Looking forward to getting and staying in touch.

Fans, I want to Apologize for being vague on what I was talking about.
I was simple showing the Indiana wrestlers that would have Placed in
    the Top 10/12 range.

There was some upper level wrestlers that did not attend & tried to
support those that did well at this Great event.

Season is just around the corner and those Rankings will be talked about.

So Good Luck to all wrestlers and lets have an Awesome year of Wrestling!

Definitely against redshirting at any grade. Put a hard cap on the age. 19 years old at the time of your sports state finals is old enough. A 14 year old freshman should not be competing against a 19 year old junior or senior. There are far more scholarships available for academics , so maybe pushing kids harder in the classroom is a better answer than holding them back a year so they can compete against younger competition. I don’t buy the not emotionally ready excuse. These same kids who aren’t ready are also allowed to travel across the country competing often times alone. If they’re mature and ready to travel on their own then compete with your same age kids. I’d be curious to know this years state finalists ages , grades and gpa. Did the kids who redshirted improve or decline academically during their year off? How many redshirt kids actually get a scholarship? Actually graduate? After all if the real goal of redshirting is to gain a scholarship and not just a competitive advantage then what percentage receive them and also graduate? Definitely an interesting topic.
