  1. If Haines beats Frazier Garcia beats Mendez Henry beats Cruz Different story it was all but over after those 3 matches on Saturday morning. Also Clark on Friday was huge agree. Yes CP was favored in those matches and they were the favorite coming in but could have been a different story if CP loses 2 or 3 of those.
  2. Was it? it was only 4 point difference. CP came to wrestle this morning. If they don't Brownsburg is right there. It was decided this morning after the quarters
  3. Frazier vs. Haines Jendreas vs. Schaefer Anthony vs. Stoud Bahl vs. Krejsa Torres vs. Garcia Ciccarelli vs Goin Hansen vs. Henry These matches could decide the team race. CP vs. Brownsburg could be really close if CP drops a couple of those matches. CP did advance 9 but some sloppy wrestling by Frazier and Jendreas trying to hard for bonus and both gave up some points. Goodwin has to wrestle better tomorrow. Brownsburg needs to win one of the Haines or Cicceralli matches. Hanies at 113 has a great way through to the finals. Torres vs. Garcia is going to be huge for Brownsburg. Brownsburg did a great job tonight getting bonus points
  4. Also not sure Frazier was really stalling. Lemley was better no doubt but Frazier didn't seem he should have been called for stalling 3 times. Mendoza from Mt. Carmel is a stud. Is he from the region? Seemed Mt. Carmel had about 4-5 kids from the region a couple from CP. Alex Tsirtsis looks like he could still wrestle. Region Wrestling Academy has something special for some top talent in the country.
  5. The refs had a hard time in the Goodwin match. He got hosed in that match. Fans must not have liked it. If that match would have came down to 170 it would have been crazy both guys looked pinned a few different times. The young man Goin wrestled might be in a little pain this morning but he fought off his back really well. That was a really cool environment. Great stream only thing was the ref stood in front of the camera a few times and didn't move.
  6. Landon Hawkins going to be very good for CP at whatever weight he goes as well.
  7. Score of Mendez and Seltzer should have been 10-4. Fun match to watch Seltzer did not seem undersized at all. Seltzer did a great job of scrambling out of a couple takedowns.
  8. What time are the finals scheduled to start? Thanks
  9. Will this be lived streamed? Thanks
  10. Jesse Mendez wrestling in this tournament? Saw his name early but not on the latest Flo list.
  11. That third period was officiated horribly. I wonder what the explanation was to A Tsirtsis. Too bad it had to come down to that. I also thought Jesse could have built up some more riding time in the 1st instead of cutting him. Match flow would have been much different. Overall good high pace match tho
  12. Is Mendez at this event. Or to close to WNO? Hasn't he won 3 in a row?
  13. Thats outstanding! Congrats to Jesse. He is fun to watch. Hope the injury he had at U23 is not that bad.
  14. That injury did not look good. He could not even put weight on his right leg. Hope he we will be okay for jr worlds.
  15. Wow! Great tournament for Mendez. Into the finals. He seems to just keep getting better.
  16. agree thought he had the rideout as well. but he could have been hit with stalling again
  17. Great tournament! He was impressive
  18. Wow what a horrible way to lose. On video you could not see the singlet pull. He was all but about to get that takedown but if he did grab the singlet maybe that helped???
  19. Boarman hung in there. Thought he should have been hit with a couple more stall calls but he wrestled smart and Mendez tried to ride the whole first period. He gave Boarman a lot of respect.
  20. Chesterton started how they finished semi state. Wow that was an impressive opening round.
  21. Angel Escobedo vs. Shane Perkey was a good semi in early 2000's. Petrov/Campbell was good. Tsirtsis vs. Cashe Q was a good match
  22. Mendez is really good and fun to watch . Boarman/Mendez at Flo was fun to watch. Looking forward to that match Sat.
  23. Crown point losing Goodwin was big. He would have scored a lot of points and had a really good shot to win. I think Chesterton or Perry wins the teams race. Should be close. The way Chesterton wrestled last week I think they are slight favorite. EMD has some tough draws
