  1. That semi state is loaded and has been loaded for as long as I can remember. There is no easy draw down in Evansville, and many people that were predicted to make a run at the state tournament wont even make it. Should be a fun weekend!
  2. Naselroad vs. Glithero is a great prediction, but they both have some serious tough matches they have to get through. Naselroad still has to win ticket round against Tyler Jones who is another great wrestler at 152. As well as Rinehart who will face Glithero in the semis, and Rinehart has got some big wins this season, and it will probably be one of the best matches to watch. Too bad they are on the same side of the bracket and wont meet in the finals. Tilton is looking on fire so far this year, but Hansen has too. Hes a natural athlete and this will also be a top tier match at New Castle.
  3. New Castle Ticket Round Match-Ups #15 Ashton Brandon (Franklin Central) v. #6 Blake Wolf (East Central) #6 Tyler Jones (Warren Central) v. #9 Max Naselroad (Alexandria Monroe) #10 Josh Johnson (Cathedral) v. #14 Griffin Ingalls (Fishers) #11 Michael Major (Carmel) v. #21 Drew Willis (Roncalli) #11 Brac Hooper (Zionsville) v. #8 Devin Frazier (Centerville) #9 Rider Searcy (East Central) v. #12 Zach Wilson (Roncalli)
  4. I disagree with this pick. Bailey is pretty tough on top, however Jeandreas is wrestling in the Crown Point room and Crown Point schedule which are both the toughest in the state. Jeandreas has been battle tested all year and I think he beats bailey.
  5. Yes I agree, I think he wins by a big decision and possibly a major.
  6. Thoughts about what will be going down Saturday at Perry Meridian? Roncalli seems to be the favorite to win the Regional as they beat both teams in the Marion County earlier this year and won Sectionals against Perry this past weekend. Some tough matches to watch 120 - #3 Toby Billerman (Perry) v. #6 Kyrel Leavell (Warren Central) REMATCH 126 - #15 Ashton Brandon (Franklin Central) v. #11 Keaton Morton (Perry) 145 - #1 Matthew Koontz (Perry) v. #12 Zach Wilson (Roncalli) REMATCH 152 - #6 Tyler Jones (Warren Central) v. #7 Kody Glithero (Roncalli) 170 - #16 Anthony Cashman (Warren Central) v. #20 Chase Gardener (Greenfield Central) 195 - #5 Aateveon Jordan (Franklin Central) v. #13 Sam Peeples (Roncalli) 220 - First round match #4 SS Quentin Keeses (Franklin Central) v. #5 SS Justin Lewis (Roncalli)
  7. I believe the coaches have the brackets or at least an idea of what they look like, but we will have to wait until tomorrow when they are released on trackwrestling.
  8. Mid State Conference - also Caleb Wyss (Franklin Community) over Keaton Morton (Perry Meridian) by Fall
  9. This is gonna be a fun one to watch, but I have to go with Crown Point being victorious over Mt. Carmel. They are both very good, solid teams with a lot of fun matchups to watch, but I think CP middle and upper-weights are very tough. Mt. Carmel is gonna have their hands full. One of the best matches of the dual is gonna be Sergio Lemley vs Logan Frazier as both are very tough wrestlers to score points on.
  10. Roncalli vs Cathedral 106 - Cathedral - MD 0-4 113 - Cathedral - Fall 0-10 120 - Cathedral - DEC 0-13 126 - Cathedral - MD 0-17 132 - Cathedral - TF 0-22 138 - Roncalli - MD 4-22 145 - Roncalli - DEC 7-22 152 - Roncalli - Fall 13-22 160 - Roncalli - DEC 16-22 170 - Cathedral - Fall 16-28 182 - Roncalli - DEC 22-28 195 - Roncalli - DEC 25-28 220 - Roncalli - Fall 31-28 285 - Cathedral - DEC 31-31 Both teams matchup very well against each other, and its going to come down to the wire. Key things to both teams are getting falls where they are needed and not giving up bonus points. Should be one hell of a dual under the spotlight at Cathedral. However Cathedral definitely could move their lineup around and make some changes to try and take an edge on Roncalli.
  11. I dont know if strange is the right word for Roncalli being the #1 seed, maybe surprised but not strange. After a very impressive run at the Marion County and the Evansville Mater Dei Holiday Classic, they seem to be the team to beat. However no matter the fact, both teams should make it to the finals and it will be a great dual to watch.
  12. I agree Reese Courtney is very slept on. 120 is a pretty loaded weight class, but he is definitely in the mix to be a state placer at bankers life this year. Can't wait to see this weight class go at it, at the end of the year.
  13. The Roncalli vs Columbus East Dual should be very interesting in the finals, so long as both teams make it. But heres how I have it shown. Roncalli v. Columbus East 106 - Rossman over Forfeit 6-0 113 - Krueger over May (Fall) 6-6 120 - Lykins over Plahitko (Fall) 6-12 126 - Mcginley over Wagner (DEC) 9-12 132 - Willis over Anderson (MD) 13-12 138 - Lowery over Fisher (Fall) 19-12 145 - Z. Wilson over K. Wilson (Fall) 25-12 152 - Glithero over Lake (Fall) 31-12 160 - Stuck over Pollitt (DEC) 34-12 170 - Law over Dozier (Fall) 34-18 182 - Hansen over Statler (DEC) 37-18 195 - Durnil over Peeples (DEC) 37-21 220 - Morrill over Lewis (Fall) 37-27 285 - Hartwell over Swartz (Fall) 37-33 There is a few tossup matches that could swing it either way.
  14. Crown Point - 13 kids ranked in the state - the only weight they don't have is 285 Brownsburg - 12 kids ranked in the state - missing 182 and 220 Mater Dei - 10 kids ranked in the state - missing 126, 132, 160, and 182 Center Grove - 9 kids ranked in the state - missing 113, 120, 126, 152, 195 Roncalli - 8 kids ranked in the state - missing 106, 120, 126, 170, 220, and 285
