  1. Streaming: All matches on Friday and Saturday, including Saturday night’s championship round, may be viewed via live stream for a subscription fee of $15 via IHSAAtv.org.  If you have a FloPro+ plan, you may also view the livestream at FloWrestling.com through the consolation rounds. Saturday night’s championship round may also be found on the Bally Sports+ app.

This is from IHSAA website. I am assuming you have to purchase something for the finals round.

Personally, I'd like to see a 245/250 in place of one of the weights at the lower end of the bracket.  There are some really good athletes who steer away from wrestling because they're in that weird space where they're too light for heavyweight, but don't want to cut a ton of weight to make 215.  That would also create a pretty obvious path to college wrestling (basically the bottom 3 weights go to 125, top 3 go to heavyweight, with a handful of the 215'ers potentially choosing to drop to 197).

There has been tons of athletes wrestling around 245-250 that dominate at heavy weight. Gable, Parris, Cassioppi, Kerk, Cassar, etc.

Cowcatchers (also known as a cattle catcher, cow plow or pilot) are devices used by the engines to deflect obstacles from the tracks as they pull their load.  I think you are referring to a bulldog: a move popularized by Austanus DeSanto in the year AD. 2020.drexel university austin desanto GIF by Drexel Dragons

I call it bulldog too, funny depending the room you're in the name its called haha

Mr FCFIGHTER170. Brevan's win over #9 Cameron Clark was a tight match. A match that Clark was leading for 2 periods. The 3rd period was tied 4-4 until the last :49 when things got real interesting and into a situation that Clark ended up on his back. I wouldn't say it was dominant by any sense of the word. I think it's great that you promote your guys but let's not go overboard.

I guess catching someone in a cowcatcher while the other opponent was deep in on a shot is dominant lol...

The rule was interpreted correctly by the officials. The question of it being a true false start is not so clear in the video. I will try and post video at some point. Just like many things in life it is when the rule or situation is abused. I have coached for many years and never have been put in the situation that the Oak Hill coaching staff was put into on Saturday. I believe in all my heart I know what I would have done in the situation. However the problem and the "unfortunate situation" that this rule caused was that Josh Beeks will never get the opportunity that he has earned by working hard and puttting himself in the best possible situation you can by entering the Semi-State tournament has a Regional champ, will never happen. 30 secs. into the match a "Caution" ended the kids career and his dream of being a State Qualifier.

You don’t think Hardcastle has dreams of becoming a star qualifier too? He worked hard to get to that point too. What if Beeks would have had his knee injured like what happened in that situation. And don’t be saying subtle comments about the coaching staff, I heard you yesterday talking crap about the coaching staff. Just low.

You may want to talk with someone from the athletic department and/or intramural sports. Not sure who’s jurisdiction a club team actually falls under.  At one point I believe a club had to have a faculty sponsor to hold your practices on Ball State campus and call it a Ball State Club.   Not sure if that’s still true.  Then it’s just finding a way to get the word out and hopefully enough interested people show up to the meeting.   Ball State has had a short-lived club team a few different times in the recent past.  Some times it just been open practice at the school.  Other times some members went to participate in open event or during the ISWA season.  During one season the group actually got enough support to have decent singlets and a larger group traveled to a few college events, but then the team seemed to fall apart the next season. Not sure if those singlets are around the athletic department or they were bought outright by team members.  It could be of use to fret and locate the leadership from that year though since they clearly have a decent idea of some do’s and don’t to help build thing if you want it to go beyond just a open practice.  Time commitment, cost, and leadership graduation often takes a toll on keeping fledgling club teams going long term.  But good luck to you. I’d love to see a long term club team get formed. And I’ll be the first to buy a t-shirt if you get to the point of selling them.

thank you!! I appreciate the advice!!
