  1. Don't forget the Quarterfinals match between Mejia and Weaver, had lots of action and went to OT.. That match basically determined who was wrestling under the lights at 113..
  2. People like Chad Red are the reason this sport is growing. If it wasn't for him wrestlers couldn't tell their friends how exciting wrestlers actually are. If they show them the video of CJ winning the match and standing on the ledge dancing, they will realize the sport may actually be fun to watch which help gets more people in the stands. I love what him and his father are doing for the sport, sadly we won't get any more of those celebrations in Bankers Life from CJ.
  3. I heard this and a few moments later the side I was on erupted in " Let's go CJ" chants.. great atmosphere
  4. I understand what you're going through! what a brutal day to try and stay focused on work
  5. 152 #5 Elijah Dunn vs. #6 Brett Johnson..... Dunn did not look very impressive at EVille, but he is super funky and a great wrestler, this is a tough match and it happens tonight!
  6. Brownsburg sent 7 with 6 champions and one runner up.. . Boy they looked good.
  7. Mulkey -Brownsburg over Luigs- EMD 7-3 dec Mulkey -Brownsburg over Luigs- EMD 7-3 dec Mulkey -Brownsburg over Luigs- EMD 7-3 dec Mulkey -Brownsburg over Luigs- EMD 7-3 dec
  8. One man clap, also known as Lets Go BD guy, also known as Ogggggleeeeesbyyyyyyyyyy.
  9. If you actually go back and watch the match it was not a knee injury that stopped the match, it was a very late potentially dangerous call that stopped it. This provided an injury to Red that happened because of how high his knee was torqued, as well as he wasn't going to his back when it was called, so you have your facts wrong sir, that did not change the outcome in the slightest
  10. I watched him at the Mooresville holiday tournament tear everyone up, his closest match coming to Troy Owen which was 7-0. He beat 2 state ranked kids there very handedly, as well as I watched him vs Carrender from LN and beat him 19-9, so the times I've seen him he has looked like the best wrestler in the state at his weight.
  11. I guess you haven't watched Cael very much this year then! He has been probably one of the most dominant and solid wrestlers all year. Very good shot at beating Bam in my opinion
  12. Personally I believe It will be a man from Yorktown winning a state championship, whether that be Laughlin (145) or McCormick (152)
  13. 132 - Brayton Lee (Indiana Gorillas) over Sage Coy (Indiana Blue) Dec 8-5
  14. There are many errors with this post considering you are obviously from the south Also, when Brayton wrestled bethel you must have forgotten it. He did not gas against Bethel he got broken due to never being taken down in high school up until that point. Then once he was taken down the crowd went crazy and he looked up to see 95% of the crowd rooting against him, that would affect anyone negatively. He has probably the best gas tanks in the state considering all of his matches usually end up with him getting ten takedowns and winning 25-10
  15. My top 4 picks are as follows: 106: Mills, Garcia, Denny, Overton 113: Weaver, Mosconi, Pruett, Chatterton 120: Mulkey, Fisher, Weddle, Siddiqui 126: Hudkins, Gomez, Pritchett, Bigelow 132: Molloy, Conley, Allen, Lorimer 138: Lee, Williams, Reese, Trietsch 145: Coyle, Wilkerson, Cullen, King 152: Dunn, Clark, Ingram, Dean 160: Whitaker, Van Horn, Glover, Mappes 170: Walton, Hays, Moore, Runyan 182: Damler, Goforth, Frank, Owens 195: McCormick, Lee, Kammerer, Ballard 220: Larson, McCubbins, Scroggs, Cicciareli 285: Henson, York, McCubbins, Pankow Team race: Brownsburg, Avon, Center Grove
  16. 145: I do not think Laughlin has what it takes to beat Rodriguez, Rodriguez is legit..
  17. Hatch has been on a tear this year.. I do not see him losing this post season until Saturday morning at state
  18. That with a definite close second from the Mooresville regional
  19. I agree too, all I was saying was that it may be closer than everyone is saying. Davison will have a close match with anyone and if Walton can keep up with him I believe he can keep up with Hughes
  20. Thanks for the correction. I guess I was only thinking about one of the matches in particular, but he's right if that's folk style then I think it'll be a lot closer than people assume to be!
  21. Bane also wrestled like a monster at state last year. He beat Cael McCormick Friday night and avenged an earlier lost to Evan Smiley for 3rd and 4th. If he wrestles like he did last year definitely need to watch out, I am just saying I don't know if he will wrestle at that caliber again at this year's state finals.
  22. He is tough as nails, but I do not think he will be able to keep up with someone at the level of Covaciu. Nothing against the kid, he is an outstanding wrestler, just my opinion!
  23. I definitely agree with 145. Rodriguez is a monster and so is Kerrn, both will be on a tear when it comes to the tournament. I have not seen a lot out of Eicher, but look for A. Laughlin to catch someone sleeping and catch them in some funk, that is one lengthy, funky dude.
  24. I couldn't disagree more. Walton has made serious gains during this offseason where most of his losses came only to Andrew Davison (mostly 2-3 point matches). I think Walton will surprise people when he steps on to the mat against Hughes.
