I've never heard of a waiver that allows a wrestler to not need a scratch weigh in for their sectional weight. Even guys with injuries or skin funk can step on the scale throughout the year.

You aren't eligible at that weight if you didn't make scratch.

Maybe at that point, coaches should just quote the line about the purpose of seeding is to separate the outstanding wrestlers above all else.

Anyone know where the 2021 B1G tournament will be? A quick google search didn't give me any answers.

Rushville's 160 is seeded at 195 for sectional.

Is there still a JV or Freshman/Sophomore individual state tournament? I thought there was in the past but haven't seen anything on it recently.

I wrestled against EC when they had Holstegge, Fleckenstein, and the Merks, and I'd probably take this years team over them from top to bottom. -
IU will get annihilated. Purdue has a chance for some of their upper level guys to get some statement wins and improve seeding for B1G tournament and NCAAs, but the team score will probably be ugly.

I assumed they were 1-2. Both teams looked tough.
