Castle had Doug and Chad Welch. Luke wasn't too bad either. But I think Mater Dei's Lee Brothers will be the most successful siblings ever.

The boy was in obvious pain with his knee. His opponents knew that and concentrated on it. That kid is tough as nails! Hats off!

That Paul Konrath is a good sport. He took his semi final loss like a man and congratulated his opponent. Kudos to the parents for raising such a good person. This kid is another force to be reckoned with.

Congrats to Coach Schaeffer on his first individual state champ! Hard to believe it's been that long. Who are Schaeffer's assistant coaches?

All a wrestling team needs is 3 studs and it can result in a state championship. This happened all the time back in the days. No real team concept.

No team ever will touch what Goebel and Helfrich put together that year. 7 in the semi finals. 4 consecutive weight class champs. -
Crick did himself in and his team by wearing purple singlets. Their school colors were brown and yelow. It really motivated the Wildcats that night to rip em up.
