Michael Berry
Alrighty, I've waited all season for this, let's hear your predictions! I'll start, all in particular order. 106: Boyd, Moore, Ocampo, Fleshman Moore is looking really strong this year, I think he'll get Ocampo in a rematch! I am also gonna go out and say that Mora from Oak Hill may have a shot against Fleshman. 113: Bollinger, May, Salazar, Cooper May and Johns in the ticket round is gonna be a total barn-burner, and I'm excited to see a rematch between Bollinger and May! Not to mention that Hinkel and McIntyre are getting a rematch after a controversial call in the first round last year! 120: Korrect, Tishner, Raber, Douglas Tishner and Korrect tore the house down in the regional finals, with some close calls that could have sealed the deal for the match. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that Korrect gets Tishner in a rematch. 126: Mosier, Rowles, Waldon, Love 132: Fielden, Lisner, Bradley, Stuffel 138: Wood, Carter, Dews, Chambers 144: Invested 150: Hagewood, Tuesch, Galvin, Jett Tuesch and Riddle in the ticket round, ouch. They are currently 1-1 against each other, I'm curious as to what may be the deciding factor here. Elkins and Galvin is also going to be interesting, I wouldn't be surprised to see this match go either way. 157: Betz, Warnock, Davis, Russell 165: Invested 175: Leech, Farnell, Russell, Detwiler Farnell is on a hot streak here, him and Russell are going to have a close match! 190: Cressell, Blair, Daring, Currie 215: Hinton, Henke, Martin, Duffy I'm curious about how Martin will do against Hinton. A decision against the returning state champ from Crown Point is something that can't be ignored. 285: Hartleroad, Cruz, Coolman, Hillman-Conley Lots of barn-burners in the ticket round here! Hillman-Conley and Dodson will be good, and Wurm vs Hartleroad may be close as well. Now remember, these are just PREDICTIONS! Hopefully no generic pot-stirrers get upset because I don't have their favorites making it out. I'm pumped to see who makes it out of these brackets! Dafar
Berry, Your pretty spot on along my thoughts as well. Although, I have a few differences not many. Tisch is the kid, if you doubt it just watch the size of the ears grow during the match. I think he does a repeat of last Saturday. He is scrappy, and will go that way if someone thinks they can. If my son and Leech mix it up again, I hope someone brings the towel cart from the locker room, because every time they went at it in the RTC, some mopping of the boys and mats had to happen. Let me get this straight. Out of 8 wrestlers from Snider you have 1 getting out? Highly unlikely. Russell and Smith are going. Don't sleep on Krouse he is dangerous and has a High wrestling IQ. Imagine a world (if you dont mind) in which Kresja is still at Delta. Brabender is still at northridge. Veazy is still in state. Rochester doesn't get moved. If my aunt had balls she'd be my uncle I know I know. But FW SS could've been well represented under the lights when on top of them you factor in Boyd, Tishner, Wood, Doster, Betz, Leech, Keegan Martin, Hinton. Just like Trevino vs Smith, will be a good one I favor Trevino but as with many matches involving good wrestlers anything could happen. As for Krouse he as with many of the Snider wrestlers the draw wasn’t nice I don’t see him beating Mosier. Could it happen an I be wrong heck yes but that is why the match is wrestled. That’s what is taught at Snider and we have a history of winning these so called bad draws. Did you have Mosier losing last week? Did you have Trevino? Exactly; Go Panthers! aoberlin

Kudos to Snider for getting 8 to semi-state, and I enjoy your steadfast devotion to your Panthers, I have enjoyed watching the Snider program for years. A wonderful mindset to teach and have but the reality is not always so. Especially when Tun draws Bollinger, Maple draws Lil Mosier and Prochaska draws Denwan all in the 1st round or with Krouse who has losses to Butt and Broady gets Mosier who has wins over both, then if Maple defeats lil Mosier you have a date with Linser next as if those draws aren’t bad enough Quoi gets to dance with Wood to get through in addition should Prochaska win his first match he gets Jett all ticket round. We have already talked about Russell and Smith, and while I like Dodson to get through, he has a heck of a ticket round match against Hillman-Conley should they both win their first one. Now I don’t have a crystal ball, and this is totally just for fun so I might be completely wrong. I hope all these wrestlers and the rest of the field win against the scale and stay healthy making the most of their opportunity. And to answer yes, I wrestled a while ago and I know and believe in the mindset of being the bad draw. As for last week's results your right, I didn’t foresee Mosier getting beat by Rowles or Trevino losing to Smithley with that being said that is why the matches are wrestled.
