uhlst
Shout out to Jared Timberman of New Pal at 145, who got screwed on a no call in the finals at conference. Down one and seemingly with no chance and about five seconds left, it's a roll and reverses the kid, but the refs only call a escape. Had the Yorktown kid on his butt and had control as time expired. NavyGonzo
I agree with you on the reversal call... But that doesn't change that he got out done 3-1 on TDs Edited January 16, 2016 by NavyGonzo uhlst
grappleapple
Agreed - I thought t was a nasty reversal. But it went OT and he got taken down. Great match. uhlst
uhlst
By no means am I discountimg take down by the Yorktown kid. Excellent take down on a bonehead mistake by Timberman. However, even at that, Timberman wrestled back and hit a reversal that made up for the takedown. That missed call at the end led for the overtime take down which ultimately cost Timberman the match. navy80
No upset at all....Laughlin placed 5th as a sophomore, and qualified as a freshman. Timberman has had the talent to placed or qualify but had some rough draws in semi-state. Nevertheless, we could see this matchup at the state finals. Both should place high....
